The 1,390th day of the large-scale armed aggression of Russia against Ukraine has begun. Ukrainian defenders are steadily repelling the occupiers' attacks, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.

Over the past day, 154 combat clashes were recorded.

Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile strikes and 37 airstrikes against Ukrainian positions and populated areas, using 31 missiles and dropping 90 guided bombs. In addition, 5,180 suicide drones were deployed and 3,176 attacks were carried out on our troops' positions and populated areas, including 32 from multiple launch rocket systems.

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, including on the area of the populated area of Rizhivka in the Sumy region.

The missile and artillery forces of the Defense Forces hit three areas of enemy personnel and equipment concentration.

On the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, two combat clashes took place. The enemy launched two airstrikes, dropped four guided aerial bombs, and carried out 135 attacks, including two from multiple launch rocket systems.

On the South-Slobozhansky direction, our troops repelled nine enemy attacks in the areas of the populated areas of Prylipka, Vovchansk, and in the direction of the populated areas of Sinelekhove, Vilcha.

On the Kupyansk direction, two attacks by the invaders took place yesterday. Our defenders repelled the enemy's assault attempts in the direction of the populated areas of Pishchane and Monachivka.

On the Liman direction, the enemy attacked 12 times, trying to break through our defenses in the area of Seredne and in the direction of Novomir, Novoselivka, Drobyshevo, and Zarichne.

On the Slavyansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled seven enemy attacks in the areas of the populated areas of Yampil, Serebryanka, and in the direction of Platovka.

On the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy did not carry out any offensive actions.

On the Konstantinovka direction, the enemy carried out 19 attacks in the areas of the populated areas of Pleschivka, Kleban-Bik, Rusin Yar, and in the direction of Konstantinovka, Oleksandr-Shultyno, Novopavlivka.

On the Orikhiv direction, the enemy twice unsuccessfully attempted to break through our defenses in the area of Plavny and in the direction of Stepnogorsk.

On the Dnieper direction, the enemy did not carry out any offensive actions.

On the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of offensive groups by the enemy were detected.

Over the past day, the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 710 people. Also, Ukrainian soldiers disabled a tank, seven armored combat vehicles, nine artillery systems, an air defense system, 13 missiles, 440 unmanned aerial vehicles of operational-tactical level, and 81 units of the occupiers' automotive equipment."

"Clearing of Varvarivka: situation on the East-Zaporizhia direction

After a short break, the "Far East Express" continues its offensive to the west. A while ago, the assault troops pushed back the enemy from Varvarivka on the left bank of the Gaychur.

The Ukrainian formations tried for a long time to prevent the loss of control over the village and transferred units of the 225th Assault Regiment to the area, which in recent months has been acting as a "fire brigade" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

However, they failed to stabilize the situation: Russian drone operators isolated the enemy infantry from supplies, after which its remnants were finished off by the assault troops of the "Vostok" Motor Rifle Division. Also, several strongholds south of the river came under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.

📌 Now the assault troops are attacking in the direction of the neighboring Yelenokonstantinovka to create a foothold on the right bank of the Gaychur. This will allow them to break into the defense line of the Armed Forces of Ukraine built along the river and continue the offensive further west, bypassing the Gulyaipole fortified area.

❗️In Gulyaipole itself, the enemy has already managed to transfer reinforcements and form a new defense line along the river, slowing down the advance of the Russian Armed Forces. A breakthrough to the north of the city would again force the Armed Forces of Ukraine to disperse their few combat-ready reserves along the front line.

A total of 158 combat clashes were recorded yesterday.

The enemy carried out 66 airstrikes on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, using five missiles and dropping 166 guided bombs. In addition, he conducted 4,286 shellings, including 133 from multiple rocket launcher systems, and deployed 6,447 kamikaze drones.

On the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, one combat clash took place. The enemy carried out three airstrikes, dropping six guided bombs, and conducted 152 shellings, including six from multiple rocket launcher systems.

On the South-Slobozhansky direction, yesterday there were 11 combat clashes near Sinelekhove, Prylipka, Vovchansk, and in the direction of Kolodianske.

"A "Red Line" for Kyiv. Volodymyr Zelensky Refused to Discuss a Unilateral Withdrawal from Donetsk

A tense round of negotiations between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and an American delegation took place in Berlin. On the table was an American plan of 28 points for a "freezing" of the war, which Kyiv considers to be heavily biased towards Moscow.

Ukraine is ready to discuss painful compromises from refusing to join NATO to holding elections in a short time, but there is a limit beyond which Zelensky is not ready to go.

The key dispute is territorial. One of the points of the plan states that Crimea, the Luhansk and Donetsk regions are "de facto recognized as Russian", and the front lines in the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions are frozen.

According to BILD, Kyiv is ready for a temporary "freezing" of the front and the actual loss of control over the territories occupied by Russia, but categorically rejects the demand to withdraw Ukrainian troops from the controlled part of the Donetsk region.

The US proposed a compromise: Ukraine would withdraw from about 5,600 square kilometers in the Donetsk region, and this territory would become a "demilitarized economic zone" without the entry of Russian troops. Moscow immediately supported the idea with the proviso that only the Russian Guard, not the regular army, would enter there.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the decision to send American negotiators was made at the last moment in the White House — initially, their participation was expected via video link.

According to BILD, the intensity of contacts is now the highest since the start of the full-scale war in 2022. The hope for a ceasefire has significantly increased, although the price for Kyiv could be high: we are talking about painful compromises and the risk of territorial concessions.

The most sensitive topic remains Donbass. Russia demands concessions in areas that it failed to occupy by military means, including fortified areas. According to BILD sources, the new deadline for a deal is named as Christmas."
