"Operational information as of 08:00 on 20.11.2025 regarding the Russian invasion

The 1,366th day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.

In total, 200 combat clashes were recorded during the past day.

The enemy launched 2 missile strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units & settlements, using 52 missiles & 57 air strikes, dropping 124 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out 4,442 shellings, including 218 from multiple rocket launch systems, & deployed 3,885 kamikaze drones to inflict damage.

Air strikes affected, in particular, the areas of the settlements of Velykomykhailivka in Dnipropetrovsk region; Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Novodanylivka, Plavni in Zaporizhzhia region.

During the past day, the aviation, missile troops, & artillery of the Defense Forces struck 1 area of concentration of personnel, weapons, & military equipment, as well as 1 other important enemy facility.

In the North-Slobozhansky & Kursk directions, the enemy launched 5 air strikes, dropped 13 guided bombs, & carried out 160 shellings of our troops' positions & settlements, including 3 from multiple rocket launch systems.

In the South-Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units 11 times near the settlements of Vovchansk, Synelnykove, Kamianka, Kutkivka, & in the direction of Kolodiazne and Dvorichanske.

In the Kupiansk direction, there were 5 attacks by the occupiers during the day. The Defense Forces repelled the enemy's assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Petropavlivka, Pishchane, & in the directions of Novoosynove and Shyikivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 17 times, trying to advance near the settlements of Nadiya, Druzhliubivka, Novyi Myr, Karpivka, Stavky, Zarichne, Drobysheve, Shandryholove, Zelena Dolyna, Novoselivka, as well as in the directions of Oleksandrivka, Lyman, & Shyikivka.

In the Sloviansk direction, in the areas of Yampil, Zakitne, Verkhniokamianske, Serebrianka, Dibrova, Dronivka, Siversk, Vyimka, & Fedorivka, the enemy attacked our troops' positions 13 times.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy conducted 8 offensive actions near Vasiukivka, Minkivka, Virolubiivka, Chasovyi Yar, Stupochky, & in the direction of the settlement of Bilokuzmynivka.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 25 attacks in the areas of Bila Hora, Kostiantynivka, Shcherbynivka, Toretsk, Pleshchiivka, Rusynyi Yar, Novoolelivka, Stepanivka, Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 55 assault & offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Nove Shakhove, Pankivka, Nikanorivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novoekonomichne, Rivne, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Balahan, Udachne, Novopavlivka, Novomykolaivka, Filiia, Dachne, & in the direction of the settlement of Hryshyne.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked our positions 12 times in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrohrad, Vorone, Sosnivka, Verbove, Zlahoda, Pryvilne, Yehorivka, Krasnohirsk.

In the Huliaipole direction, our defenders stopped 11 enemy attacks in the areas of Rivnopillia, Zelenyi Hai, & in the direction of the settlements of Zatyshshia and Zelene.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 4 times in the areas of the settlements of Novoandriivka, Stepove, & Prymorske.

In the Prydniprovsk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions today.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups have been detected.

Our warriors inflict significant losses on the occupying forces in personnel & equipment and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.

💥 The units of the "North" troop group inflicted defeat on formations of two mechanized brigades, a ranger brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and a territorial defense brigade in the areas of the settlements Alekseevka, Varachino, Katerinovka, Novaya Sech, Pisarevka, and Yunakovka in the Sumy region.

📍 On the Kharkiv direction, defeat was inflicted on units of the National Guard regiment in the area of the settlement Volchansk in the Kharkiv region.

▪️ The AFU lost up to 250 servicemen, a tank, three infantry fighting vehicles, 18 vehicles, six field artillery guns, two electronic warfare stations, five ammunition and material supply depots.
 
📍 The units of the "West" troop group improved their position along the front line. Defeat was inflicted on personnel and equipment of four mechanized brigades, an assault brigade of the AFU, and a National Guard brigade in the areas of the settlements Kurilovka, Kucherovka, Monachinovka, Nechvolodovka, Podoly in the Kharkiv region and Drobyshevo in the Donetsk People's Republic.

🪖 In the settlement of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region, assault detachments of the 6th Army continue clearing city blocks and destroying the remnants of encircled enemy units.

⚡️ During the day, two attacks were repelled by formations of the 125th mechanized brigade of the AFU and the 15th National Guard brigade in the areas of the settlements Blagodativka and Kutkovka in the Kharkiv region, aimed at breaking the encirclement and reaching the Oskol River to restore destroyed crossings. The enemy lost up to 15 militants.

▪️ Additionally, as a result of fire strikes, up to 50 servicemen of the AFU were destroyed, along with a US-made M113 armored personnel carrier, three "Kazak" armored fighting vehicles, a Canadian-made "Senator" armored car, five vehicles, a Romanian-made APR-40 multiple rocket launcher, a "Strela-10" surface-to-air missile system launcher, and four electronic warfare stations.

▪️ In total, in the area of responsibility of the "West" troop group, enemy losses amounted to over 230 servicemen, a tank, a "Shkval" infantry fighting vehicle, an armored personnel carrier, four armored fighting vehicles, 16 vehicles, and a field artillery gun. A multiple rocket launcher, a surface-to-air missile system launcher, ten electronic warfare stations, and five ammunition depots were destroyed.
 
📍 Units of the "South" troop group occupied more advantageous lines and positions. Defeat was inflicted on formations of mechanized, assault, airmobile brigades of the AFU and a marine brigade in the areas of the settlements Berestok, Zakotnoye, Zvanovka, Ivanopolye, Konstantinovka, Nikolaevka, Reznikovka, Severesk, Slavyansk, and Stepanovka in the DPR.

▪️ The enemy lost more than 190 servicemen, four armored fighting vehicles, and 14 vehicles. An electronic warfare station, four ammunition, material, and fuel depots were destroyed.
 
📍 Units of the "Center" troop group improved their tactical position. Defeat was inflicted on personnel and equipment of three mechanized brigades, assault, ranger, airborne assault brigades, two assault regiments of the AFU, a marine brigade, a territorial defense brigade, and three National Guard brigades in the areas of the settlements Belitskoye, Grishino, Novopavlovka, Novy Donbass, Oktyabrskoye, Rodinskoye, Rosa Luxemburg, and Shevchenko in the DPR.

🪖 In the settlement of Krasnoarmeysk in the DPR, assault groups of the 2nd Army continue destroying encircled formations of the AFU in the Centralny and Gornyak microdistricts, as well as in the western industrial zone. Clearing of the settlement Rovny in the DPR continues. Over the past day, four servicemen of the AFU voluntarily surrendered."

🔥 Six attacks repelled on armored vehicles of the 32nd mechanized brigade and the 425th assault regiment “Skala” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the area of the settlement of Grishino, Donetsk People's Republic, aimed at breaking the encirclement of the Ukrainian group. Up to 30 militants and a "Kazak" armored vehicle were destroyed.

🪖 In the settlement of Dimitrov, DPR, assault units of the 51st army continue active offensive operations in the Eastern, Western, and southern parts of the city.

▪️ In the past day, up to 180 servicemen, four armored personnel carriers, five infantry fighting vehicles, four pickups, and two artillery guns were destroyed in the Krasnoarmeysk direction.

🚩 Units of the "East" troop group continue to advance deep into the enemy's defense, actively liberating the settlement of Veseloe in Zaporizhzhia region.

💥 Damage inflicted on formations of two assault brigades and three assault regiments of the AFU in the areas of the settlements of Velikomikhaylovka, Pokrovske in Dnipropetrovsk region, Huliaipole, Yablokove, and Dobropillia in Zaporizhzhia region.

▪️ The AFU lost over 250 servicemen, a tank, seven vehicles, a 122mm self-propelled artillery mount "Gvozdika," and two electronic warfare stations.
 
🔥 Units of the "Dnipro" troop group inflicted damage on personnel and equipment of a mechanized brigade of the AFU and a territorial defense brigade in the areas of the settlements of Orekhov, Stepnohirsk in Zaporizhzhia region, Mykilske in Kherson region, and the city of Kherson.

▪️ Up to 50 servicemen, two infantry fighting vehicles, six vehicles, six electronic warfare stations, two ammunition and material supply depots were destroyed.
 
✈️ Operational-tactical aviation, strike unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery of the troop groups of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed two launchers of the US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, inflicted damage on energy infrastructure facilities of Ukraine used in the interests of the AFU, supply depots, locations of long-range drone crews, as well as temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 146 districts.
 
🎯 Air defense means shot down four British-made Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles and 119 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles.

"Flags in Vesely

Russian troops are advancing on the approaches to Gulyaipole , assault groups of the “Vostok” are approaching the city through the forest belts near Zatyshshia.

Fighters of the 114th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 127th Division have raised flags in Vesely. The settlement, consisting of one street, was liberated following battles for the adjacent forest belts and is located on the heights east of Gulyaipole. Fighting continues for Zelenyi Hai and Chervone (Krasne, also known as Vysoke.

Capturing these heights will somewhat ease the upcoming assault on Huliaipole, to which other units of the 127th Division are now breaking through with fighting from the side of Yablokove.

In the sector northward, from the Rivnopillia-Sladke line, attacks are also underway in the fields. Here, Ukrainian formations are trying to buy time to organize defense along the Haichur river.

Further north, fierce battles are raging on the approaches to Radisne and Novozaporizhzhia, and near Hai the enemy does not cease attempts at counterattacks.

"The Third Battle for Lyman

On the Lyman direction, the "West" group of troops is advancing, gradually expanding the zone of control in the northern part of the DPR occupied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Russian assault units are advancing in the area of Sredneye and bypassing Yarovaya, moving along the Alexandrovka-Sviatohirsk line.

Heavy fighting continues in Drobysheve and Stavky for control of key strongpoints — there, Russian forces are forming the northern flank of the partial encirclement of Lyman, within the boundaries of which fighting is also ongoing.

Evidence of Russian assault troops advancing in the Kommunalny microdistrict on the southeastern outskirts of the city has appeared online. The attack itself actually took place more than a week ago, so the successes of the Russian Armed Forces may be even greater.

South of Lyman, gradual advances continue toward Dibrova and fighting in Yampol, the liberation of which will allow attacks to be developed toward Ozerne and the final clearing of the "Holy Mountains" national park.

📌 Ahead of the Russian troops lies another battle for Lyman, which the Russian Armed Forces were forced to leave after a heroic defense in the fall of 2022. After the city is liberated, the path to Rayhorodok and Sviatohirsk will open. The upcoming battle for the Slovyansk agglomeration has come one step closer.

"Defense Collapse: clearing of Pokrovsk and threat of encirclement of Mirnograd

The assault on Pokrovsk is approaching its final stage. Russian troops are clearing the northern part of the city and have already advanced nearly a kilometer towards Hryshyne.

The enemy presence in Pokrovsk still remains, but it is mostly localized and without signs of organized resistance.

At the same time, the Russian Armed Forces are advancing attacks to the east. Separate assault groups have already been spotted near Rivne, the liberation of which will completely cut off the supply to the garrison of the neighboring Mirnograd.

In Mirnograd itself, Ukrainian formations are putting up fierce resistance, but they are unable to turn the tide of the battle there. Russian aviation almost hourly "irons out" enemy positions in the city, with footage regularly emerging of airstrikes using three-ton "agitprop munitions."

📌 Meanwhile, attempts by Ukrainian formations to break through to the city from the north have failed. Russian troops are gradually regaining control over Rodynske and will soon physically cut off the T-05-15 highway.

Currently, the enemy, realizing the imminent loss of the agglomeration, is trying to establish new defensive lines further north. The greatest activity of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is observed around Dobropillia, which will soon remain the last major defensive node before the borders of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

"Situation in the Gaza Strip as of November 10-20, 2025

Besides yesterday's strike on the Zeitoun area in Gaza, there are also other violations by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the sector. In most cases, it is Gaza itself that suffers, as well as the central and southern districts, whose populations already endure housing shortages and flooding after rains. Yet even against this backdrop, Hamas and the Israelis manage to maintain the appearance of upholding the ceasefire terms.

▪️For example, another exchange of bodies — after receiving the remains of a deceased hostage, the Israelis handed over 15 bodies of Palestinians to the Gaza Strip. Humanitarian missions continue their work, distributing food and medicine throughout the enclave.

▪️The shelling most often targeted Gaza, where Hamas fought pro-Israeli groups in the suburbs, the surroundings of Deir el-Balah, where the movement reported the death of one of its commanders, and Khan Yunis, where the Israelis allegedly eliminated militants emerging from a tunnel near the “yellow line.”
