📌And all this — without any response from the regime of Abu Muhammad al-Julani. Since the beginning of the year, his structures have limited themselves to formal statements, making no attempt to expel the IDF or even hinder their advance.

❗️It seems that in Damascus they now operate within new unofficial agreements: joining the international anti-terrorist coalition and cooperating with the Americans left the regime with only one option — not to interfere with Israeli activity and not to create reasons for conflict.

▪️ The enemy lost up to 210 servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, 20 cars, a field artillery gun, two electronic warfare stations, and an ammunition depot.

🚩 Units of the "East" troop grouping, as a result of decisive actions, liberated the settlement of Gai in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

💥 Damage was inflicted on formations of the assault brigade of the AFU and two territorial defense brigades in the areas of the settlements Ostapovskoye, Radostnoye in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Vozdvizhevka and Chervonoe in the Zaporizhzhia region.

▪️ The AFU lost over 215 servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, seven vehicles, and three field artillery guns.

"Operational information as of 16:00 on 17.11.2025 regarding the Russian invasion

Since the beginning of this day, there have been 81 combat engagements.

Today, communities of border settlements were affected by enemy artillery fire, including Malushyne, Stara Huta, Bobylivka in the Sumy region; Khrinivka, Klyusy in the Chernihiv region.

In the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, seven combat engagements with enemy forces have occurred since the start of the day. Additionally, the enemy carried out three airstrikes, dropped eight guided bombs, and conducted 61 shellings of our troops' positions and settlements.

In the South-Slobozhansky direction, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks near Vovchansk and towards the settlement of Dvorichanske. Two more combat engagements are ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian occupiers tried three times to break through our defense in the areas of Pishchane and Stepova Novoselivka settlements. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, the invading army launched six attacks towards the positions of Ukrainian units near the settlements of Novyi Myr, Zarichne, and Drobysheve. Three combat engagements continue.

The Defense Forces repelled nine enemy attacks in the Sloviansk direction. The aggressor was active in the areas of Dronivka, Serebrianka, Siversk, and Fedorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, today the enemy attacked our positions twice in the areas of Stupochky and Orikhovo-Vasylivka.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 15 assault actions in the areas of Shcherbynivka, Rusynyi Yar, Yablunivka, and towards Kostiantynivka and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders made 18 attempts to push our defenders from occupied positions in the areas of Mayak, Fedorivka, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and Dachne settlements. The Defense Forces are holding the line and have already repelled 15 enemy attacks. Fighting continues in three locations.

No combat engagements have been recorded in the Orikhiv direction at this time.

In the Prydniprovskiy direction, the enemy twice unsuccessfully tried to approach the positions of our defenders.

"Collapse of the front near Gulyaipole

The "Vostok" troop group is advancing on a broad front, pushing forward on several sectors in the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Assault units of the 36th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 29th Army have liberated the settlement of Hai. Russian flags have been raised there, and the attacks are developing further to the north and west.

🔻Where else are there successes?

▪️On the sector eastward, fighters of the "Vostok" group are advancing north from Volchyi towards Tykhe. Several forest belts have come under control.

▪️South of Danylivka, the enemy has been pushed out of several forest belts on the approaches to Nechaivka, Radostne, and Novoe Zaporizhzhia. The offensive continues there as well.

▪️In the vicinity of Sladke, several strongpoints and "pockets" formed after the breakthrough to Sladke following the liberation of Uspenivka have been cleared. Now the enemy is being cleared from the fields further towards the Haichur river.

▪️From the side of Rovnopillia and Yablokove, an advance is also underway westward towards Varvarivka. There, Russian units will likely form a "claw" to partially encircle Gulyaipole.

▪️On the eastern approaches to Gulyaipole itself, there are also successes. Russian units have managed to gain a foothold on the outskirts of Vesele and Zelenyi Hai, and have also approached Chervone. Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were pushed out from the fields to the north.

📌Almost the entire East Zaporizhzhia direction is moving, and the situation for the enemy is rapidly deteriorating. As we predicted, Ukrainian formations are trying to build a defense along the Haichur river.

Judging by the pace of "Vostok"'s advance, at least some enemy units have been withdrawn and taken across the river. Those remaining in the "interfluve" are effectively left as suicide troops, trying to buy time to reinforce the defense on the Haichur.

❗️At the same time, Russian units are not only entering Gulyaipole from the north but are also pressing from the east, where the enemy has fortified lines. From the side of Yablokove, it is quite possible to advance through these fortifications, which would avoid a frontal assault on the defensive line on the approaches to Gulyaipole.

❓The question is whether the enemy will decide to hold the homeland of Makhno, which has considerable political significance but is strategically almost lost, or will not try and withdraw forces to the second line of defense, which Russian units have already breached in another sector.

In the north of the special military operation zone, Russian units have liberated another settlement and advanced in Volchansk.

🔻Where is the “North” advancing?

▪️Dvurechanskoye has been liberated, fighters of the 9th regiment of the 18th motorized rifle division raised the Russian flag in the center of the village.

Thus, at the junction of the Slobozhansky and Kupyansky directions, the “pocket” that reached the Russian border ceased to exist. And now there is an opportunity for further attacks towards Kolodeznoe with the front line being aligned along the Verkhnyaya Dvurechnaya river.

▪️There are also local successes in Volchansk. The enemy was finally pushed back beyond Fontannaya street further east.

Now, under the control of Ukrainian formations, there is not much territory left in the relatively dense built-up area of Volchansk. Beyond Gurkanovskaya street remains only a scattered private sector.

📌Despite the retreating front, the enemy continues shelling the border regions of Russia, not to mention launching waves of UAVs. The authorities of the Belgorod region report daily material damage and casualties among residents. The situation remains difficult both at the front and in the rear.

"Seversk Encirclement

Russian forces are advancing on the Seversk direction, with the Russian Ministry of Defense announcing the liberation of Platonovka. If confirmed, this will mark the beginning of a countdown for the enemy forces in Seversk.

This information has not yet been confirmed by objective control footage, but the extensive work on mistakes carried out in this direction (and in the "South" troop grouping in general) allows for cautious optimism on this matter.

🔻On the partial encirclement of Seversk:

▪️If the liberation of Platonovka is confirmed, Russian units will physically cut off the road Zakotnoye-Seversk.

▪️Earlier, this road from Lyman to Seversk was already cut off by neighbors on the Lyman direction, and in fact, supplies along it were already absent.

▪️With the consolidation in Platonovka, Russian drone operators will find it easier to strike the supply routes of Ukrainian formations through Reznikovka.

▪️The situation on the approaches to Seversk is also worsening for the enemy. Russian assault troops have driven Ukrainian formations from strongpoints southwest of Serebryanka.

▪️A similar situation exists to the east and south of the city. Russian Armed Forces units, having advanced from Novoselovka and Vyemka, are practically on the threshold of Seversk.

▪️Heavy fighting continues near Zvanovka. The enemy is putting up fierce resistance here because with the liberation of this settlement, Russian units will bring the last remaining asphalt road to Seversk under fire control through Reznikovka and Svyato-Pokrovsk.

📌Ukrainian formations will undoubtedly try to defend Seversk as long as possible, sending reinforcements there. However, even with the current configuration of control zones, the roads to the city are subject to systematic strikes.

Holding Seversk for a long time, "hanging" on drone supplies from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, is unlikely, since the city with industrial zones and a "non-independent" population of over 14 thousand people (11 thousand in 2021) is still not a remote dugout deep in the rear.

So if the enemy does not try to stabilize the situation, the liberation of Seversk is quite likely in the foreseeable future. However, the personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is not infinite, and the "firefighting teams" are being worn down on the Pokrovsk-Mirnograd direction.

Seversk is not the only city where battles are unfolding on the approaches. In the Konstantinovka area, Russian assault groups are also advancing on the eponymous direction, expanding the control zone near the outskirts.

🔻Where are the attacks?

▪️The enemy has been driven out of part of the ruins of Predtechino, as well as from several strongpoints northwest and south of the village.

▪️In the east of Konstantinovka, very small assault groups are still active. Concentration here is associated with great risks, as the sky is literally "crowded with drones."

A significant part of the buildings and basements have been destroyed during the fighting, as the enemy launches drones by the dozens at every detected group of fighters.

▪️Fighting also continues in Ivanopolye. Russian assault troops have expanded the control zone in the southern part of the settlement and occupied strongpoints near the railway northwards.

▪️Advancement here is associated with considerable risks, as the enemy is still present in both Plescheevka and Nelepovka.

▪️West of the Kleban-Byk Reservoir, the situation remains unclear. Reports of attacks occasionally appear online, but there is no concrete information yet, and rumors about reaching the old checkpoint "GAI Post" appear regularly.

📌 The "legacy" in the form of numerous salients with abundant fortifications still slows the advance of the Russian Armed Forces; some "pockets" have existed since the battle for Dzerzhinsk, and the last resistance strongholds within the same Shcherbinovka were eliminated by November 12.

❗️It is, of course, too early to talk about a full-scale assault on the city, although the enemy is already reporting an increase in airstrikes. The fact that FAB bombs from UMPC were dropped on Ukrainian Armed Forces positions in Konstantinovka even during assaults on the approaches to Pokrovsk and Mirnograd is further evidence of the growing capabilities of the Russian Armed Forces both qualitatively and quantitatively.

"Expansion of the Bridgehead: situation in the Novopavlovsk direction

The front has started moving even in previously static directions. After the recent crossing of Volchya and breakthrough to Novopavlovka, the Russian Armed Forces are consolidating their positions on the achieved lines and advancing further northwest.

At the moment, forest belts and a large stronghold south of the city have come under confident control of Russian units. This has secured the pontoon crossing route near Dachnoye from possible enemy counterattacks.

In Novopavlovka itself, a large combat zone still remains. Russian Armed Forces units are operating along the entire southeastern outskirts of the settlement. They are currently trying to consolidate in the ruins of the private sector and are pulling logistics along the T-04-28 highway.

"Successes in Pokrovsk

Some time ago, the GUR landed in this area, but something went wrong, and now Russian troops are advancing on the northwestern outskirts of Pokrovsk.

The enemy is retreating further north beyond the railway, although there are still localized actions to the south. At the same time, Ukrainian formations continue attempts to counterattack from Hryshyne, but without much success.

The situation in Rodynske is gradually fading into the "fog of war." Earlier, the enemy slipped in there under the cover of ordinary fog, but now reports of successes by the Russian Armed Forces are coming from there, including advances westward from Rodynske.

From the area northwards, there continue to be reports of attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Sukhetske-Suvarovo line, where the enemy previously tried to break through to Fedorivka. It is unlikely that the offensives have stopped: the Sukhetske-Novoe Shakhove-Shakhove line remains the scene of heavy fighting.

📌The battle for Pokrovsk is approaching its logical conclusion, which is why the position of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the neighboring Myrnohrad is rapidly deteriorating. The cut-off garrison is subjected to multiple strikes, and according to some reports – also from the enemy's air force. If this is confirmed, it can be stated as the final collapse of the Ukrainian defense in the agglomeration. Although counterattacks will definitely still occur.

Since the beginning of this day, there have been 79 combat clashes.
Today, communities of border settlements suffered from enemy artillery fire, including Bobylivka, Brusky in the Sumy region; Khrinivka in the Chernihiv region.

In the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, since the beginning of the day, there have been two combat clashes with enemy forces. In addition, the enemy carried out one airstrike, dropped four guided bombs, and also conducted 78 shellings of our troops' positions and settlements, including one from a multiple rocket launcher system.

In the South-Slobozhansky direction, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks near Vovchansk and towards the settlement of Kolodyazne. Two combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian occupiers tried four times to break through our defense in the areas of the settlements Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Kupiansk.

In the Lyman direction, the invading army carried out five attacks towards the positions of Ukrainian units in the direction of the settlements Koroviy Yar, Stavky, Drobysheve, and Lyman. Two combat clashes are still ongoing.

One enemy attack was repelled by the Defense Forces in the Sloviansk direction. The aggressor was active in the area of Serebrianka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders made 30 attempts to push our defenders from occupied positions in the areas of the settlements Shakhove, Nove Shakhove, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Rivne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiya, Dachne. The enemy is trying to stabilize the situation in the East Zaporizhzhia direction and is counterattacking in several areas, while the “Vostok” is consolidating its positions on the achieved lines.

🔻How is the situation developing?

▪️Just yesterday, footage appeared from Gai with deployed Russian flags, and now the enemy is trying to counterattack with small groups from Otradnoye through forest belts towards Vishnevoe and Verbovoe.

▪️The Russian Ministry of Defense also announced the liberation of the settlement Nechaevka. Contrary to usual, no footage with flags has appeared from there yet. According to our data, fighting is still ongoing on the approaches.

▪️Clashes continue in the fields between Sladkoe and Dobropolye. No reports of advances have come from there, but attempts at Armed Forces of Ukraine counterattacks are noted.

▪️From the side of Yablokovo, Russian units have made progress south along the O080619 highway, but this is currently a push towards the settlement Zatishye from the north, not an assault on Gulyaypole.

In any case, the city is effectively the key to the eastern flank of the entire Zaporizhzhia direction and will be defended first and foremost for this reason, not because it is the homeland of Makhno.

The AFU command reasonably fears losing positions on the approaches to Pokrovskoye, since there the “Vostok” has already crossed the second and last well-fortified AFU defense line. And there, as before from the side of Orestopol, the enemy will try to push the Russian Armed Forces back to the line Vishnevoe-Verbovoe-Stepovoe to the south.
