💥 Units of the "North" group of troops inflicted defeat on formations of two mechanized, a jaeger, an airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and a territorial defense brigade in the areas of the settlements Sadki, Proletarskoye, Miropolie, Iskriskovshchina, and Korchakovka in the Sumy region.

🔥 In the Kharkiv direction units of a motorized infantry brigade of the AFU and a territorial defense brigade were defeated in the areas of the settlements Synelnykove and Volchansk in the Kharkiv region.

▪️ Losses of the AFU amounted to up to 170 servicemen, 14 vehicles, and two field artillery guns. Three ammunition depots and nine supply depots were destroyed.
 
📍 Units of the "West" group of troops improved their position on the front line. Defeat was inflicted on personnel and equipment of four mechanized, assault brigades of the AFU, a territorial defense brigade, and two National Guard brigades in the areas of the settlements Novoplatonovka, Tatyanovka, Shiikivka, Petrovka in the Kharkiv region, Yarovaya and Yampol in the Donetsk People's Republic.

➡️ In the area of the settlement Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region, assault detachments of the 6th Army continue to destroy the encircled enemy group. Three attacks by units of the 144th mechanized, 92nd assault brigades of the AFU and the 15th National Guard brigade from the areas of the settlements Nechvolodovka and Blahodatovka in the Kharkiv region aimed at breaking through to the encircled Ukrainian formations were repelled.

⚡️ An attempt by a group of servicemen of the 116th mechanized brigade of the AFU to break out of the encirclement westward was thwarted. In the area of the settlement Petrovka in the Kharkiv region, the breakthrough of an enemy assault group to the destroyed crossing over the Oskol River for its restoration was stopped.

▪️ In one day, up to 50 servicemen, a heavy mechanized bridge TMM-3, 12 vehicles, and four electronic warfare stations were destroyed in the area of the settlement Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region.

▪️ Overall, in the area of responsibility of the "West" group of troops, losses of Ukrainian armed formations amounted to up to 215 servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, 22 vehicles, and an artillery gun. Seven electronic warfare stations and three ammunition depots were destroyed.
 
📍 Units of the "South" group of troops took more advantageous lines and positions. Defeat was inflicted on formations of five mechanized, assault, mountain assault brigades of the AFU, a marine brigade, and a territorial defense brigade in the areas of the settlements Severesk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkovka, Nikiforovka, and Konstantinovka in the DPR.

▪️ The enemy lost up to 95 servicemen, two tanks, three armored combat vehicles, 16 vehicles, and two field artillery guns. An electronic warfare station, an ammunition depot, and a supply depot were destroyed.

They inflicted defeat on personnel and equipment of four mechanized, jaeger, airmobile, airborne, three assault, two airborne assault brigades, two assault regiments of the AFU, a marine brigade, and a territorial defense brigade in the areas of the settlements Toretskoye, Rodinskoye, Dobropolye, Kotlino in the DPR, Demurino and Volnoye in the Dnipropetrovsk region."

💥 In the settlement of Krasnoarmeysk, Donetsk People's Republic, assault groups of the 2nd Army continued the destruction of encircled formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the eastern part of the Central district and on the territory of the western industrial zone, as well as clearing Ukrainian militants from the settlements of Hnatovka and Rog in the DPR. 64 buildings were liberated in the past day. Two servicemen of the 68th Jaeger Brigade of the AFU laid down their arms and surrendered.

🔥 13 enemy attacks were repelled from the area of the settlement of Hrishino, DPR, aimed at breaking the encirclement of the AFU formations. Three attempts by militants of the 425th Assault Regiment of the AFU to break out of the encirclement ring to the north were thwarted.

↗️ In the settlement of Dimitrov, DPR, units of the 5th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 51st Army continued active offensive actions towards the “Western” microdistrict. 19 buildings were liberated from Ukrainian militants.

▪️ During the day, more than 220 Ukrainian servicemen, a pickup truck, and a Swedish-made Viking armored personnel carrier were destroyed in the area of the settlements of Krasnoarmeysk and Dimitrov, DPR.

▪️ In total, in the area of responsibility of the “Center” group of troops, enemy losses amounted to over 480 servicemen, one combat armored vehicle, and eight cars.
 
📍 Units of the “East” group of troops advanced deep into the enemy's defense. Damage was inflicted on formations of two mechanized brigades and two assault regiments of the AFU in the areas of the settlements of Orestopil in Dnipropetrovsk region, Rovnopillya, Yablokove, and Sladkoye in Zaporizhzhia region.

▪️ The AFU lost up to 245 servicemen, two tanks, an armored personnel carrier, eight cars, and a US-made 155mm M777 howitzer. Two electronic warfare stations and a warehouse of material resources were destroyed.
 
💥 Units of the “Dnipro” group of troops inflicted damage on personnel and equipment of mechanized, mountain assault brigades, and two coastal defense brigades of the AFU in the areas of the settlements of Novodanilovka in Zaporizhzhia region, Nikolske and Tokarevka in Kherson region.

▪️ Up to 45 servicemen, one combat armored vehicle, seven cars, two artillery guns, seven electronic warfare stations, two ammunition depots, and two warehouses of material resources were destroyed.
 
✈️ Operational-tactical aviation, strike unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops, and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces groups inflicted damage on energy and transport infrastructure facilities supporting the activities of the AFU, storage and launch preparation sites for long-range strike UAVs, as well as temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 149 areas.
 
🎯 Air defense means shot down two guided aerial bombs and 261 airplane-type unmanned aerial vehicles.

The Defense Forces are taking measures to prevent the enemy from advancing deeper into Ukrainian territory.

Since the beginning of this day, there have been 93 combat clashes.

Today, communities of border settlements suffered from enemy artillery fire, including Bobylivka, Novovasylivka, Hirka, Brusky, Zarutske in Sumy region; Serhiivske, Yasna Poliana in Chernihiv region.

In the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, eight combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of the day, four of which are currently ongoing. In addition, the enemy carried out four airstrikes, dropping 10 guided bombs, and also conducted 99 shellings of our troops' positions and settlements, including 13 from multiple rocket launch systems.

In the South-Slobozhansky direction, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks, one battle is still ongoing. The enemy is trying to advance in the area of Vovchansk and towards Dvorichne.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian occupiers attacked our defenders' positions 10 times towards the settlements of Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Hlushkivka. Currently, three combat clashes are ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, the invading army carried out six attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units near the settlements of Novoiehorivka, Hrekivka, Zarichne, Novoselivka, and towards the settlement of Korovyi Yar. Four combat clashes are ongoing.

In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled eight attacks. The invading units tried to advance near Yampil, Dronivka, Siversk, Serebrianka, and Fedorivka; three combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, our warriors repelled two attacks near the settlements of Novomarkove and Virolubivka.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out nine assault actions in the areas of the settlements Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Rusyn Yar, and towards Sofiivka. Three combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders made 32 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of the settlements Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Dorozhne, Novopavlivka, Novoekonomichne, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiya.
The Defense Forces are holding the line and have already repelled 26 enemy attacks; six combat clashes are ongoing. Our warriors continue strike and reconnaissance actions in the Pokrovsk area. The enemy is suffering losses.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy is trying to break through the defense of our defenders in the areas of the settlements Sichneve, Verbove, and Pershotravneve. Our warriors repelled three enemy assaults; one attack is ongoing.

In the Huliaipole direction, four combat clashes were recorded in the area of Novomykolaivka and towards Novo. All enemy attacks were repelled.

In the Orikhiv direction, no enemy offensive actions have been recorded at this time.

In the Prydniprovske direction, Ukrainian units repelled one enemy attack towards the Antonivskyi Bridge.

"What about the power? State of the so-called Ukraine's power grid

More than two months have passed since the start of the new campaign of strikes on the energy sector of the so-called Ukraine. During this time, Russian forces have carried out dozens of massive UAV and missile attacks on power generation and transmission facilities.

Many regions of the country have faced emergency power and heating outages. In some places, interruptions have continued for several weeks. However, even local power grid collapses have not occurred.

🔻Why?

▪️At many of the attacked facilities, the enemy was able to quickly carry out repairs. For example, at the Trypilska TPP, two power units resumed operation shortly after the attack.

▪️In the east of the so-called Ukraine, the Zmiivska CHPP continues to operate, supplying energy to the territories controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas. Although the plant lost part of its generating capacity, it is still able to support the operation of at least three power units.

▪️Large Kiev and Transnistrian HPPs remain operational. Hydropumped storage power plants (HPSPs), which directly affect the daily redistribution of energy in the grid, have not been targeted at all.

▪️The strikes also did not affect the key Kiev 750 kV substation and the Dnipropetrovsk energy hub. An attack on the former could pose a direct threat to the power supply of the so-called Ukraine's capital, while the latter largely maintains the stability of the power grid in the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions today.

▪️Energy shortages are also avoided in part thanks to solar generation. Power plants of this type are widely distributed across many regions of the country in a decentralized manner, so taking them out would require a separate set of measures.

▪️Nuclear power plants also make a significant contribution to the stability of the enemy's power grid. For obvious reasons, the Russian Armed Forces try to avoid attacks on them. Nevertheless, the energy supply routes from them can be cut off by striking open distribution devices and the aforementioned substations.

Nevertheless, even without a collapse, the Russian Armed Forces have inflicted significant damage on the energy complex.

🔻How has it manifested?

▪️After a series of attacks in the north of the country, almost all substations with voltages above 330 kV were "knocked out." In the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, the enemy has to carry out transit through 110 kV networks, which obviously affects energy consumption.

▪️Particularly notable are the strikes on hydroelectric power plants. At the Middle Dnieper HPP, at least 3 generators were damaged, and emergency water discharge continues at the facility. At the Kremenchuk HPP, four generators were destroyed, as well as several transformers and cooling reservoirs.

▪️In Kiev, after a series of hits, the CHPP-6 was partially disabled; its capacity now only supports heating. At the Ladizhyn TPP, the roof over several power units collapsed as a result of the attacks, and fuel oil tanks were destroyed.

🖍An important role in compensating for the missing capacity for the enemy is played by electricity imports from the EU. While at the end of summer the Kiev authorities proudly spoke of its reduction, by the end of October the figures had significantly increased amid the attacks. Overall, the connection with Europe allows the enemy to maneuver capacities and even earn from exports during favorable periods.

❗️Over two autumn months, the Russian Armed Forces have demonstrated that they have all the means to fragment the unified energy system of Ukraine at any moment. Neither air defense, nor reinforced concrete protective structures, nor EU assistance in restoring energy facilities helped the enemy here.

This scenario, of course, will not greatly affect the combat capability of the AFU but will be painful for the enemy's industry and military infrastructure. The fact that it has not yet been implemented is more due to political expediency than technical impossibility.

Poland is starting a large-scale voluntary military training program for all citizens. The project, called "Ready," will begin on November 22, announced Poland's Minister of Defense, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. According to him, the goal of the program is to train about 400,000 people over the next year.

Authorities emphasize that the courses are not equivalent to military service and do not require a military oath.

Poland is one of Ukraine's main allies in the EU and NATO and an important logistics hub for supplying weapons to Kyiv. More than 210,000 military personnel already serve in the country, including 37,000 volunteers. Warsaw plans to increase the size of its army to 300,000 in the coming years."
