Since the beginning of this day, 117 combat clashes have occurred.

Today, communities of border settlements have been affected by enemy artillery fire, in particular Novovasylivka, Girky, Kozache, Tovstodubovo, Romashkove, Seredyna-Buda, Rudak, Bobylivka in the Sumy region; Khrinivka in the Chernihiv region.

In the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, seven combat clashes with enemy troops have occurred since the beginning of the day. In addition, the enemy carried out four air strikes, dropping ten guided bombs, and also carried out 119 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, 13 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South-Slobozhansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks near the settlements of Vovchansk, Odradne and towards Hryhorivka and Obukhivka. Two more combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian occupiers tried to break through our defenses four times in the areas of the settlements of Borivska, Andriivka, Boguslavka and towards Kupyansk. One combat clash is still ongoing.

In the Lymansk direction, the invading army carried out eight attacks towards the positions of Ukrainian units near the settlements of Novomykhailivka, Druzhelyubivka, Shandryholove, Seredne, Kolodyazi. One combat clash is still ongoing.

Ten enemy attacks were repelled by the Defense Forces in the Siversk direction. The aggressor was active in the areas of Hryhorivka, Dronivka, Viyimka, Fedorivka and towards Yampol.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy tried four times to break through the defense of our defenders in the direction of the settlements of Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Predtechyne and in the direction of the settlement of Nikyforivka.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 12 assault operations in the areas of Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Katerynivka, Rusyny Yar, Poltavka and in the direction of Mykolaipyl. Three combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian invaders made 38 attempts to push our defenders from the occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Nykanorivka, Zolotiy Kolodyaz, Novoekonomichne, Rodynske, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Novoukrainka, Novye Shakhove and in the direction of Pokrovska. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and repelling 31 enemy attacks, and fighting is still ongoing in seven locations.

In the Novopavlivske direction, the enemy tried to break through the defense of our defenders in the areas of the settlements of Piddubne, Voskresenka, Komyshuvakha, Novogeorgiivka, Olhivske, and Ivanivka. The defense forces repelled nine enemy assaults, and four more combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Hulyaipil direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders in the area of ​​the settlement of Poltavka. The settlements of Zaliznychne and Rizdvyanka were subjected to air strikes.

In the Orikhivske direction, with the support of aviation, the enemy advanced in the area of ​​the settlement of Kamianske — but was unsuccessful.

In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy once tried in vain to approach the positions of our defenders in the direction of the Antonivske Bridge, and the enemy also carried out an air strike in the areas of the settlements of Antonivka and Ingulka.

"Fighting on the Oskol: Russian troops are approaching the center of Kupyansk

Russian units are gradually expanding their control zone in Kupyansk and advancing towards the city center. The enemy is using drones to strike supply routes, but has not succeeded in pushing the Russian Armed Forces back to the northern outskirts.

In other parts of the Kupyansk direction, positional battles are ongoing. In the north, Russian troops are pushing the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of the forested areas near Kamenka, and are also attacking around Stepovaya Novoselovka in the central sector.

🔻How the fighting in Kupyansk is developing:

▪️Russian assault groups are gathering in the northwest part of the city, infiltrating its buildings from the side of Radkovka. Earlier reports appeared online about the alleged use of pipes by Russian troops to supply units within the city, but these have not yet been confirmed.

Meanwhile, enemy media have already reported the "destruction" of the pipe without providing visual evidence.

▪️The fiercest fighting is taking place near the central hospital, where Ukrainian forces have established a strong defensive node. To the south, Russian Armed Forces are trying to drive the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of the vicinity of the central square and gain fire control over the bridges across the Oskol.

▪️Notably, enemy media only began talking about the start of fighting for Kupyansk a few days ago, while in reality Russian troops had already secured positions within the city at the beginning of September, and on the approaches as early as August. Apparently, the Ukrainian command hoped to quickly eliminate the breakthrough assault groups and later report a successful defense of the city.

📌 The front configuration in Kupyansk remains largely obscured by the "fog of war". Russian units in this area are not rushing to share objective control footage, while the enemy seeks to hide the true scale of Russian Armed Forces advances.

❗️Nevertheless, even now it is possible to note the worsening situation of the enemy garrison. Russian assault troops are gradually approaching the crossings over the Oskol, which are used to supply Ukrainian formations in the eastern part of Kupyansk.

This poses a threat to the entire Ukrainian grouping on the right bank of the river, for which the enemy may lack sufficient resources to contain. However, the enemy may maintain positions through drone resupply: Ukrainian formations already have such experience.
