"I might roll my eyes at some rando using an LLM to write their emails, but I don't buy that they're doing something any more evil than taking a flight or eating meat or leaving the lights on"
"I have a dear friend who is a disabled artist who writes her own code for image gen and gets torn apart for it on the regular with straight up ableist disability porn ("X person drew it with their feet, why can't you?")"

what sorts of programs/solutions would you guys recommend for backing up your data to a locally hosted SMB server?
I -was- going to use Veeam software as a backup solution, but Holy fucking shit is it overkill for my use case.
I'm wanting to back up my Windows 10 system as a tool to be able to 'give myself an out' if I do decide to return to windows if absolutely necessary, but also to make the files within the volumes themselves available to access, so that I may be able to easily pull them back over as needed in my process of switching over to a linux install here soon
