> Description: we will develop next generation force fields for the description of amorphous porous glasses that correctly describe the possibilities of breaking metal-organic coordination bonds, and develop a database of materials and associate physical properties. Finally, we will use these hybrid glass models to train machine learning models for structure/property relationship prediction, accelerating the discovery of novel hybrid glasses.
Applicants should have a Masters degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Materials Science, with
some training and experience in computational chemistry, theoretical chemistry, or molecular modelling.
