I currently have 2 major projects, which extend my work in a new direction by using an applied intervention approach. The first study, an R21 funded through NIH, tests a mindfulness intervention as a way to reduce relationship distress among community couples. The second is a similar study among UD dating undergraduate couples.
If the intervention is successful, a next step would be to see if by improving relationship quality, we also improve people’s health.
