FULL TIME Postdoctoral Researcher
Columbia University Medical Center, NY NY

A highly motivated postdoctoral scientist with 1 or more years of experience is sought to conduct novel laboratory and translational research at Center for Lymphoid Malignancies at Columbia University Medical Center in the City of New York. The research project will focus on exploring the efficacy of epigenetic targeting of histone acetyltransferases in lymphoma using first-in-class novel drugs as a single agent and in rationale combinations, and understanding potential biomarkers/genetic signatures that can predict for activity. Involvement in additional new drug discovery platforms may also be necessary. The ideal candidate should have expertise in all of the following areas: general concepts in cancer biology, processing and study of human tumor tissue, tissue culture, western blot, preparation of samples for RNA seq and its analysis, PCR and mouse xenograft models. The candidate must be able to interface with colleagues in a diverse team and communicate effectively.
