There are two fully-funded PhD positions available in the School of Computing in Australian National University (ranked as the 1st university in Australia and 27th university in the whole world according to QS ranking 2022).

Minimum Requirements:
- Master degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Solid understanding of algorithm design, graph theory and probability theory.
- Good programming skills.
- Excellent grades in theoretical, mathematical, and programming courses.
- Proficient in English, especially great technical writing.
- Successful performance in research projects, such as BSc/MSc thesis and semester projects.

Nice-to-Haves:
- Publications in prestigious conferences and journals.
- Successful experience as a Teaching Assistant.
- Strong background in some of the following topics: graph theory, probability theory, randomized algorithms, network security, social networks, game theory, and Markov chains.
