Hi Lin Would,

Ha. That’s funny. No, sorry, but guys like you don’t get to hang out with people like me.

Can you even SEE me from the league you’re in?

Patrickbut
Wow. So many people flamed out that I am not interested in meeting Lin. How crazy. What different people such are from me. People who come from my culture understand that if someone betrays you by secretly recording you (particular a lawyer of whom you are asking legal questions and seeing if you can hire for your legal issues), then it is beneath your dignity as a man to interact with such riff-raff again. I understand there are a lot of people raised these days not to know the basics of such matters as "honor", but no, it is not in the realm of possibilities. Obviously.

If you don't understand, ask your grandad if he is still around. He will explain the rules.

I'll make you all a deal: When Kyle Rittenhouse tells me to meet Lin, I'll meet Lin. Until then, UNTIL KYLE RITTENHOUSE'S ACCUSATIONS ARE DISPROVEN BY LIN WOOD, I STAND WITH KYLE RITTENHOUSE.

Up ≈ 2X month to month. Seems odd.
Correct
The wailing, gnashing of teeth, rending of garments, and snot-spit-and-ears flowing regarding Lin Wood, present a learning opportunity.

When I speak of "my world" I am not referring to money. As a matter of fact, I was not raised with money (though by the time I was 20 we were affluent). That is irrelevant. My position flows from what anyone of my age should have been taught as "class" versus "riff-raff" (and "class" has 0 to do with money, as my mom frequently reminded me).

My Granddad was a life insurance salesmen from Jersey. We used to watch Perry Mason. In one episode someone had secretly taped someone. I asked him about it, and he was aghast. "Paddy you never want to be one of those people who runs around taping other people. Only riff-raff does that, and no serious man will deal with you."

People now think it is normal. Last fall, in interacting with political types, I noticed a young man who acted a bit... stilted. After I knew him a week, he pulled out a recording he had made the previous day of an opponent of his in RNC circles, someone I don't like. It did not matter to me that I did not like the man he had taped: I had nothing to do with the young fellow after that.

Think of it this way: there are business circles where someone might pull out a vial and do a line of cocaine. Strip club owners, Wall Street types. I hear it is a DC thing now. I would not sit at a table with a man who did that. Once he had done it once, I would understand, "Oh, this guy is riff-raff, it is beneath my dignity to interact with him." So would any decent person. Someone who thinks it is OK to do a line of coke in public hails from a world that I am above. Again, sorry if that sounds "snobbish" but those are the rules. The same goes for clowns who run around taping others willy-nilly

Given what Lin was going through last week, maybe his judgment was clouded and he did not get that it was a coincidence. He was incorrect. But out of an abundance of generosity, from the start of this incident I have made clear that, given what Lin was going through, I have some minor compassion for his mistaken inference.

But in Lin Wood's case there is an additional complication that cuts the other way, too. It is true that when I decided to call Lin I did so entirely to speak with him about engaging him as a lawyer regarding CNN and MSNBC. 100% true. Seemed like the perfect guy for it. When Kyle made his accusations I felt badly for Lin, thought, "I bet no one has called to hire this guy as a lawyer for a full year," and tried to do something nice. Only a few minutes before I made the call, in the act of trying to get his number, I found out that there was some social media brouhaha going that I had not known about it because I don't pay attention to such matters because I have a life and "Twitter isn't a real place" (as Chappelle put it recently). So Lin's inference was incorrect. If it took me later in the call than it should have to break through what was on HIS mind to get around to asking him the hiring question.... well YOU try having a two-way discussion with Lin Wood and see how it gets you.

In addition, Lin Wood has insulted my friends Mike and Joe Flynn. Everything Lin is saying about them is crazy. No, they don't need to prove anything to Lin Wood, either. But for insulting them I would have something else to say to him, too, were we ever to meet.

I dismissed Kyle's assertions simply from my understanding of Lin's character a week ago. Knowing now as I do that he is riff-raff, I cannot dismiss Kyle's claims anymore.

Maybe the children of Lin Wood, or clients who say things like Kyle Rittenhouse say, maybe they have seen something you have not. But let us be fair about it. When Kyle Rittenhouse publicly confirms that Lin did not, in fact, act dishonorably towards him as a client.... I'll be happy to let Lin Wood come over and wash my car. I will bring him a lemonade on the back porch and we can sit and talk.

Satisfied?

That is the brave academic left that I remember.

According to reports, the school board has canceled a book club event with a Nobel Prize winning author and ISIS sex slavery survivor because it could “promote Islamophobia” and “offend” Muslim students.

This came out yesterday. Does anyone Want to read this and then really want to tell me that Lin Wood is on our side and sane? Or does he have some agenda?

Here is the true disconnect from reality: Lin seems to think of himself as in the middle of the action in this election stuff. Where is the truth is, as he acknowledged in his phone call with me, he didn’t really have anything to do with it when we were down at his place: he had his staff make people meals and he was a good host, but he had no role that I know of. I was surprised to see his name on the lawsuits, and that is why I do believe him now when he says that his name was signed those lawsuits without his awareness. And since then he has not been involved in any of this. Have not encountered a guy for a year. He’s not involved in audits, he is not involved in dealing with politicians, he is not involved with strategy, he is not involved with investigations, he is not involved with new lawsuit being filed. As far as I know Lin spent the year down in Tomotley playing nude games of Johnny-on-a-Pony.

And yet now he emerges from isolation acting like he’s been in the middle of this for the last year. And just making wild accusations. Joe flynn threaten to kill somebody, Mike Flynn is a deep state spy… Lin is simply a kook.

By the way, Mike Flynn has IQ points to burn.
