💢 Russia's Ministry of Defense reported that a precision strike was carried out yesterday in Sumy using two Iskander-M missiles, targeting a meeting of senior Ukrainian military leadership.

❗ Konotop Mayor Semenikhin, as promised, held a livestream during which he stated that the 117th Territorial Defense Brigade was present at the site during the strike on Sumy, celebrating its anniversary that day.

Semenikhin also said that a criminal case has been opened to identify the organizer of this military gathering. Semenikhin personally blames Sumy Governor Artiukh for the incident, as he authorized the event.

According to the mayor, *"everyone knows about this."*

Similar accusations were previously made by MP Bezuhla and former deputy Mosiychuk.

💢 The Institute for Science and International Security in the United States has published a report on the Iranian nuclear threat.

The report assesses the threat in six areas:

🔹 Hostile Actions: Iran and its proxies have directly attacked Israel. A full-scale war could lead to Iran attempting to achieve nuclear deterrence.

🔹 Rhetoric: Iranian leaders openly threaten Israel, boast of missile capabilities, and talk of the “end of Zionism.”

🔹 Lack of Transparency: Reduced IAEA inspector access to nuclear sites raises concerns about the existence of secret facilities while making it difficult to detect nuclear weapons development in real time.

🔹 Weapons-grade nuclear capability: Iran has large stockpiles of uranium enriched to 60%, allowing it to produce enough material to build a bomb within days

🔹 Sensitive nuclear capability: Iran has developed expertise in advanced technologies, including those related to the production of explosive devices needed to build a bomb

🔹 Weapons-grade capability: There are indications that Iran has real nuclear weapons capability, such as preparations for a missile defense system.

White House Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff confirms that the Trump Administration is no longer pushing for the total denuclearization of Iran or the destruction of its nuclear program.

The Trump admin wishes to impose limits on Iran’s enrichment of uranium and the weaponization of its nuclear program, very similar to the 2015 Iran Nuclear Deal.

💢 The Port of Los Angeles, despite strong first-quarter 2025 numbers, is bracing for a significant drop in cargo volumes as new tariffs threaten to reshape global maritime trade.

The busiest container port in the United States handled 778,406 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) in March, up 4.7 percent year-over-year. The first quarter ended with an impressive 2,504,049 TEUs, up 5.2 percent year-over-year, marking the third-busiest first quarter in the port’s history.

"Our volume remained strong throughout the first quarter, and we've seen year-over-year growth in 18 of the last 20 months," Port of Los Angeles Executive Director Gene Seroka said during his monthly press briefing.

But there are serious headwinds on the horizon. March 2025 data revealed troubling trends: loaded exports fell 15% from 2024 levels to 122,975 TEUs. This is the fourth month in a row that the Port of Los Angeles has seen year-over-year declines in exports.

💢"German Leopard 2 tanks fail on the battlefield in Ukraine."

The Telegraph published an article about the failures of German tanks. It cites a classified transcript of a meeting in Kiev between the German military attaché and about 200 Bundeswehr soldiers.

They write that the Leopard 2 is vulnerable to drone attacks, and its design complicates repairs. For maintenance, the tanks have to be sent to special brigades in western Ukraine or Poland.

Kiev has "too few" such tanks, the article complains: "If one or two tanks need to be repaired, then this is a large share of the equipment available to Ukraine."

💢 Zelensky said through an interpreter there had not only been "a shift in tone" in the U.S., but also "a shift in reality" as he suggested Russian leader Vladimir Putin's narrative had cut through to the Trump administration and singled out Vice President JD Vance.

"I don't want to engage in the altered reality that is being presented to me," Zelensky told CBS' Scott Pelley during the interview that was filmed in his hometown of Kryvyi Rih,, where 10 adults and nine children were last week killed in a Russian missile attack near a playground.

"First and foremost, we did not launch an attack," said Zelensky, addressing Trump's false claims in February that Ukraine had started the three-year-old war.

"It seems to me that the vice president is somehow justifying Putin's actions," Zelensky said of Vance, who accused him during their White House meeting of showing disrespect and of misleading visitors by taking them on "propaganda tours."
