Where was everyone yesterday at the Drag Queen Story Hour public outreach at Media City? Those of you who are 'doing this for the kids'? We had some amazing freedom fighters turn up with us yesterday (thank you so much, you were awesome ❤️) but until they arrived we wondered if there might only be a handful of us to face the much larger Antifa group. I know train cancellations meant some couldn't commute in from other areas however more locals ought to have considered standing alongside us.

If we acquiesce to these events happening we turn a blind eye to the premature exposure of children to traditionally adult-themed entertainment; including, by definition, the premature sexualisation of children. Let children be children and keep them innocent.

Stop writing empty, lengthy statements about unity and instead DO SOMETHING about it before it's too late and our kids face a harrowing future where they're not able to remain innocent for long enough. 👊

Can anyone on here help us to specify a good quality, all in one speaker (battery and amplifier built in the speaker) which has / can work with a microphone and is loud and clear enough to be heard in a very busy place (e.g. a city centre) please? All recommendations greatly appreciated - once we know exactly what we'd like with the cost we're going to launch a donations appeal - because a speaker is desperately needed for some events and it would give us the ability to do more.

We're not too interested in the music side really, it may occasionally be used for music but it's voice amplification, clear and loud, which we're looking for. 🎤
