(One can ask how Hezbullah was able to smuggle, transport, and assemble such a large artillery system in the woods safely and in secrecy)

There has been no statement by the Lebanese army and Gov who are now responsible for this

Hezbullah's MP Hassan Fadallah answers, and repeats what Sheikh Naim Qassem said about their no longer being any "[visible] armed presence of Hezbullah in the south of Litani"

"We implemented the agreement from our side and we are seeing non-stop Israeli violations.

They kept nagging on us that the state and international resolutions can solely protect Lebanon.

It is now an opportunity and we have left the matter to the state completely [with zero interference from us].

Who is responsible for the area south of the Litani River? The Lebanese Army, UNIFIL, and the Oversight Committee. [Let's see what they will do]"

🏦 Corrupt Lebanese banks that refuse to acknowledge their bankruptcy are offering interest on the Lebanese pound of up to 45 percent!

That means that whoever deposits a thousand billion pounds in a bank for a year will receive 450 billion pounds in interest on the amount!

These are imaginary interest rates that are only paid in bankrupt banking systems. The banks have arranged obligations for themselves in Lebanese pounds, and instead of selling the dollars they greedily collected in the past years, they decided to pass the risks on to depositors by tempting them with imaginary interest.

We are facing a behavior that we have witnessed many times since the nineties of the last century, and which has only led to the destruction of society and increasing the poverty of the poor, while increasing the wealth of less than 1 percent of the Lebanese at the expense of the vast majority of the population and citizens.

Once again, the country needs a serious discussion about the financial and economic strategy, based on building an effective banking sector that is not parasitic, and holding the owners of the banks who steal public and private money responsible for their crimes instead of holding society in general responsible for them.
