The 4-day ceasefire has reportedly been extended to one month. According to Al-Monitor, Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani held a phone call with SDF Commander-in-Chief Mazlum Abdi, during which the extension was agreed.

Mazlum Abdi has also put forward a new proposal. Following recent contacts between Iraq and Mazlum Abdi, U.S. envoy Barrack is expected to meet with Syrian officials to convey Abdi’s offer.
Mazlum Abdi stated that he will not accept the position of Deputy Minister of Defense, but will instead propose an alternative candidate.

SDF fighters are currently being evacuated by the international coalition from Raqqa's Al Aqtan prison, which was under siege by Damascus government factions. The prison holds 4,000 ISIS prisoners.

HTS militants have entered the prison while the SDF evacuation convoy is heading towards Kobane.

In a statement, the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council said Iraqi courts would take "due legal measures" against the detainees once they are handed over and placed in specialised correctional facilities, citing the Iraqi constitution and criminal laws.

"All suspects, regardless of their nationalities or positions within the terrorist organisation, are subject exclusively to the authority of the Iraqi judiciary," the statement said.

It's worth noting that the Iraqi courts often give ISIS terrorists the death sentence.
