According to this report, on January 9, Imam Khomeini Stadium in Kermanshah, located on Taq-e Bostan Boulevard, was turned into a site for storing the bodies of protesters.
Based on a conducted count, approximately 1,400 bodies of victims were being held inside the stadium — a figure that clearly reveals the scale of the catastrophe.

Eyewitnesses and a civilian doctor have confirmed that many victims, while still alive, were subjected to forced organ harvesting — including kidneys and hearts — and were then executed with a final gunshot.

Some of those killed were residents of Kermanshah itself, and due to the sheer number of bodies, the stadium was completely filled.

In a statement, the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council said Iraqi courts would take "due legal measures" against the detainees once they are handed over and placed in specialised correctional facilities, citing the Iraqi constitution and criminal laws.

"All suspects, regardless of their nationalities or positions within the terrorist organisation, are subject exclusively to the authority of the Iraqi judiciary," the statement said.
