So after the brilliant success of the march in Londonโฆ..onwards and this Saturday roll your sleeves up as thereโs a day of action planned in #Cardiff city centre from 11am.
We are going to hand out leaflets to the public and shops and businesses and try to engage in as many conversations as possible with them.
We also have the MP postcard campaign where we are going to get as many people as possible to sign the postcards and we will be delivering these to the MP for Cardiff (Jo Stevens) at a later date.
We will start the day with some rousing speeches from #andrewBridgen, #PiersCorbyn #DavidKurten and #FionaRoseDiamond. โ

FAO those driving on the M4 tomorrow to Wales for the Cardiff Day of Action on Digital Id:
A three-day closure on the M4 in South Gloucestershire starts today (Friday, October 24) as steel beams for the Badminton Road Bridge are lifted into place.
National Highways has said the M4 will be closed in both directions between junction 18 and 19 near Bristol from 7pm today until 6am on Monday, October 27.
โA diversion for westbound traffic will be as follows:
From M4 junction 18, exit the motorway roundabout to the A46 heading towards Bath
At the A46/A420 junction just past Pennsylvania take the A420 towards Warmley
At the A420/A4174 junction in Warmley, take the A4174 towards the M32
Join the M32 at junction 1 and head to the M4 junction 19
Follow directions above in reverse for exiting at M4 junction 19
The eastbound diversion will be in reverse..โ

It was truly a great day of action against #DigitalID yesterday in #Cardiff.
We started the day with some impressive speeches from Andrew Bridgen, David Kurten, Piers Corbyn and Fiona Rose Diamond.
Piers and a large group and a sizable number of people went off in all directions to leaflet the public.
I stayed at the street stall where we had several โvox boxโ style interviews with the public (coming soon) about digital id.
Lots queued up to complete our postcard campaign to local MPโs (that we will deliver on another date) and to talk to us at the stall and this included younger people.
Overall the response from the public was positive and most are very much against digital id and war conscription.
This day was a great โspringboardโ for more days of action and to activate the wonderful people of South Wales.
Iโm looking forward to more of this with my old friends and allies in Gloucester next Saturday 1st November from 11am at the Cross.

More jobs to go as we are made redundant as human beings and the elderly are cut off from proper human contact.
As if many of the elderly can or should use WhatsApp?

A huge thank you to all the people who turned up in the rain to do the hard work of community outreach to say no to digital id in Gloucester today.
Gloucester has a hardworking team who run a street stall with leaflets and light newspapers in Eastgate Street every Friday and deserve our appreciation and support.
Also a huge thank you to the unstoppable and indomitable Piers Corbyn who came all the way from London to support us by giving out leaflets and talking to the public, the definition of a true activist.
Lots of leaflets went out and there were lots of conversations and most were against digital id and war conscription.
It was a challenge as it rained for the first two hours and there were lots of gatherings organised on the same day against digital id (we must get better at not clashing when organising dates, as it helps none of us).
We must keep up the graft of outreach and reaching the public.
A new date for the Southwest is coming soon for January.

Reuters address current intent and policy, not *future potential misuse* or mission creep.
What is also offensive about DSIT's remarks is that they're still intent on prioritising National [digital] ID over physical documents like a passport or driver's license for Right To Work checks.
Britons have already vociferously rejected National ID and it doesn't matter if Labour's policy is a digital first approach.
