Both side Traffic stopped on Jammu-Srinagar NHW due to repair of steel Tunnel at Panthyal, traffic will be released after clearance by NHAI . SSG road through for vehicular movement, however Mughal road is still blocked @JmuKmrPolice
*Two LeT militants killed in Kulgam Gunfight, operation on*

Srinagar, June 27:(GNS) Two militants affliated with Lashkar-i-Toiba have been killed in a gunfight at Nowpora-Kherpora area of South Kashmir's Kulgam district on Monday.

A senior police officer told GNS that two LeT militants have been killed in an ongoing encounter.

However identity of the slain militants couldn't be established as of now.

Earlier gunfight broke out between militants and Joint team of Police and security forces in the area.(GNS)
*Yatra: IGP Kashmir Holds Final Review Meeting, Reviews ‘Real Threats, Counter Measures’*

Srinagar, June 27 (GNS): Three days ahead of the start of annual Amarmath Yatra, Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar held a final security meeting, reviewing “real threats and counter measures.”

Official sources told GNS that IGP Kashmir held final security review meeting related to annual pilgrimage to cave shrine in south Kashmir’s district of Anantnag.

GOC Victor Force, IG CRPF, DIsG of BSF, ITBP, CRPF and police besides all districts SSsP and COs of south Kashmir attended the meeting.

“Real threats and counter measures being taken by police and SFs were reviewed,” a senior officer told GNS. (GNS)
*‘Stranded’ Vehicles Cleared On Mughal Road After 21 Hours Closure*

Poonch, June 26 (GNS): Mughal road, connecting Poonch and Rajouri districts with Shopian district, reopened on Monday for stranded traffic after remaining closed for 21 hours.

The road was closed after a massive landslide occurred at Dougrian towards Poonch side in the afternoon, leading to the closure of the thoroughfare.

A police officer confirmed to GNS that stranded traffic vehicles were cleared only. However, the officer said, fresh rains have started in the area and decision regarding allowing the traffic would be taken by the authorities after accessing the situation. “People are requested not to undertake journey unless confirming the status of the road,” he said.
