During their most recent meeting, US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to move forward with a plan to build a so-called “green city” in Rafah, southern Gaza. The project envisions confining Palestinians to roughly half of the Gaza Strip, effectively creating a ghetto for residents who would be forcibly displaced from their homes and made to live in caravans

Officials in the Trump administration have held preliminary discussions about how to carry out an attack on Iran if needed to follow through on warnings from Trump.

Options discussed include a large-scale aerial strike on multiple Iranian military targets, according to one official.

Another said there is no consensus on what course of action to take, and no military equipment or personnel have been moved in preparation for a strike.
