πThe Elephant Ropeπ
As a man was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime, break away from their bonds but for some reason, they did not.
He saw a trainer nearby and asked why these animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away. βWell,β trainer said, βwhen they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, itβs enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.β
The man was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldnβt, they were stuck right where they were.
Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before?
Failure is part of learning; we should never give up the struggle in life.

π΄πͺ΅The Woodcutter and the Golden Axeπͺπͺ
There was once a woodcutter, working hard in the forest, getting wood to sell for some food. As he was cutting a tree, his axe accidentally fell into the river. The river was deep and was flowing really fast β he lost his axe and could not find it again. He sat at the bank of the river and wept.
While he wept, the God of the river arose and asked him what happened. The woodcutter told him the story. The God of the river offered to help him by looking for his axe. He disappeared into the river and retrieved a golden axe, but the woodcutter said it was not his. He disappeared again and came back with a silver axe, but the woodcutter said that was not his either. The God disappeared into the water again and came back with an iron axe β the woodcutter smiled and said it was his. The God was impressed with the woodcutterβs honesty and gifted him both the golden and silver axes.

π¨βπΎTHE FARMER AND THE WELLπΏπ±
One day, a farmer was looking for a water source for his farm, when he bought a well from his neighbor. The neighbor, however, was cunning. The next day, as the farmer came to draw water from his well, the neighbor refused to let him take any water.
When the farmer asked why, the neighbor replied, βI sold you the well, not the water,β and walked away. Distraught, the farmer went to the emperor to ask for justice. He explained what had happened.
The emperor called on Birbal, one of his nine, and wisest, courtiers. Birbal proceeded to question the neighbor, βWhy donβt you let the farmer take water from the well? You did sell the well to the farmer?β
The neighbor replied, βBirbal, I did sell the well to the farmer but not the water within it. He has no right to draw water from the well.β
Birbal said, βLook, since you sold the well, you have no right to keep the water in the farmerβs well. Either you pay rent to the farmer, or take it out immediately.β Realizing that his scheme had failed, the neighbor apologized and went home.

βοΈβοΈ The Four Smart StudentsβοΈβοΈ
One night four college students were out partying late night and didnβt study for the test which was scheduled for the next day. In the morning, they thought of a plan.
They made themselves look dirty with grease and dirt.
Then they went to the Dean and said they had gone out to a wedding last night and on their way back the tire of their car burst and they had to push the car all the way back. So they were in no condition to take the test.
The Dean thought for a minute and said they can have the re-test after 3 days. They thanked him and said they will be ready by that time.
On the third day, they appeared before the Dean. The Dean said that as this was a Special Condition Test, all four were required to sit in separate classrooms for the test. They all agreed as they had prepared well in the last 3 days.
The Test consisted of only 2 questions with the total of 100 Points:
1) Your Name? __ (1 Points)
2) Which tire burst? __ (99 Points)
Options β (a) Front Left (b) Front Right (c) Back Left (d) Back Right
Then the students are like π€,and they understand their foolishness

π£οΈThe Speaking CaveπΏ
One day a lion was searching for food. He was very old and weak and unable to catch his preys by chasing them. Suddenly the lion saw a cave on his way and upon inspecting inside he found it to be empty.
That gave the lion an idea and he thought to himself, β If I stay here, the owner of the cave is bound to return and thatβs when Iβll jump upon it and make it my meal.β
He waited patiently till the night fell and the jackal who actually lived in the cave came back. Jackal saw the footprints of the lion and he got suspicious. Jackal decided to trick the lion and started asking cave why the cave was not speaking to him today.
Lion thought that may be cave actually does speak to Jackal every night and decided to call him in himself today. On hearing lionβs voice, Jackal got certain that lion is hiding inside and he ran away from the place to save his life.

A popular speaker started off a seminar by holding up a $20 bill. A crowd of 200 had gathered to hear him speak. He asked, βWho would like this $20 bill?β
200 hands went up.
He said, βI am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this.β He crumpled the bill up.
He then asked, βWho still wants it?β
All 200 hands were still raised.
βWell,β he replied, βWhat if I do this?β Then he dropped the bill on the ground and stomped on it with his shoes.
He picked it up, and showed it to the crowd. The bill was all crumpled and dirty.
βNow who still wants it?β
All the hands still went up.
βMy friends, I have just showed you a very important lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20. Many times in our lives, life crumples us and grinds us into the dirt. We make bad decisions or deal with poor circumstances. We feel worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. You are special β Donβt ever forget it!

πStruggles develop strengthπ
One day a man was passing by a garden when he saw a butterfly cocoon which was about to get open.
He saw a small opening on it and watched the several hours of struggles the butterfly came through to get the body out of it. After many hours, it seemed that the butterfly stopped trying as there was no progress.
He thought to help the butterfly by cutting the cocoon with a scissor. So the butterfly came out easily but the wings were shriveled and the body was tiny and withered.
Unfortunately, the butterfly was not able to take flight and spend the rest of life crawling with a wounded body.

πͺThe Miser and His Gold
There once was an old miser who lived in a house with a garden. The old miser used to hide all his gold coins under stones in his garden.
Every night, before he went to bed, the miser went out into his garden to count his coins. He continued the same routine every day, but he never spent a single, golden coin.
One day, a thief saw the old miser hiding his coins. Once the old miser went back into his house, the thief went to the hiding place and took all the gold.
The following day, as the old man came out to count his coins, he found it was gone and started wailing loudly. His neighbor heard the cries and came running, asking what had happened. Upon learning what had occurred, the neighbor asked, βWhy didnβt you just save the money inside your house where it wouldβve been safe?β
The neighbor continued, βHaving it inside the house would make it easier to access when you need to buy something.β βBuy something?β answered the miser, βI was never going to spend my gold.β

Rei met a nice guy on the train. He was sitting next to her. She thought he was handsome. There was a typhoon and the train was stopped for a long time. He started to talk to her. His name was Ichiro.
They were both university students. They both liked JPop. They both belonged to the kendo club in high school.
βUh, would you give me your phone number?β asked Ichiro. βMaybe we could meet again sometime. Go out on a date?β
Rei was very pleased. She didnβt have a boyfriend. She thought Ichiro was very nice. They exchanged phone numbers.
βCan I ask you something?β said Ichiro. βWhy do you have blue hair?β
Rei didnβt want to tell him why her hair was blue. But Ichiro smiled at her, and she thought, He is talking to me. He asked for my phone number. Maybe he thinks my blue hair is OK.
βWhen I left my hometown and went to university, I felt very bad. I was very shy. I didnβt have any friends. I was too frightened to go out of my apartment. I was too frightened to go to classes. I wanted to do something to make me feel strong.
βI have a sister who is much older than me. She had many Sailor Moon manga. When I was young, I read them all the time. My favourite character was Sailor Mercury. She is a very friendly character. Sheβs smart. I wanted to be like her. She has blue hair. So I changed my hair colour to blue.β
Ichiro laughed. βWhat do your parents think?β
βThey hate it. But I donβt care. But maybe you donβt want to go on a date with someone with blue hair.β

WOUND WILL REMAIN:
There was a boy who was always losing his temper.
His father gave him a bag full of nails and said to him,
βMy son, I want you to hammer a nail into our garden
fence every time you need to direct your anger
against something and you lose your temper.β
So the son started to follow his fatherβs advice.
On the first day he hammered in 37 nails,
but getting the nails into the fence was not easy,
so he started trying to control himself when he got .
As the days went by, he was hammering in less nails,
and within weeks he was able to control himself and
was able to refrain from getting and from hammering nails.
He came to his father and told him what he had achieved.
His father was with his efforts and said to him: βBut now,
my son, you have to take out a nail for every day that you
do not get .β
The son started to take out the nails for each day that
he did not get , until there were no nails left in the fence.
He came to his father and told him what he had achieved.
His father took him to the fence and said, βMy son,
you have done well, but look at these holes in the fence.
This fence will never be the same again.β Then he added:
βWhen you say things in a state of anger, they leave
marks like these holes on the hearts of others.
You can stab a person and withdraw the knife but it
doesnβt matter how
many times you say βIβm sorry,β because the wound will remain.

His father was with his efforts and said to him: βBut now,

πKevin's Carπ
Kevin likes cars. He reads about cars in magazines and he watches shows about cars on TV. His head is full of cars!
He tells his parents, "Please, please, please, could you buy me a car?"
"No," says Kevin's mom, "You are too young to drive a car. This is dangerous."
"No," says Kevin's dad, "A car is very expensive. We can't buy you a car now."
Kevin is very sad. He wants a car. He wants a fast red sports car!
He decides to build one! He buys books and reads about the subject. He hangs around at the garage and watches the mechanics fix the cars. It is very interesting for him and he has a lot of fun.
Finally, he starts building his own car! He tells his parents about it. His father doesn't believe him. He says it's too difficult. His mother says she is worried. She doesn't want him to do anything dangerous.
After two months, Kevin invites his parents to see his creation. His parents are surprised! It is beautiful! It is red! It is shiny! It is a big toy sports car! Kevin can sit inside it and drive!
Kevin's parents are very happy and proud. Kevin's dad says: "I was sure you can do it!"
Kevin's mom says: "I was sure it was not dangerous!"
Kevin smiles and drives away.

πThe Hare's Friends
A hare had many friends. One day, she heard some hounds approaching, but she thought her friends would definitely save her. She first went to the horse for help but he declined to carry the hare on his back saying that he had important work to do for his master.
The hare was sure that his other friends would help him. The bull said, βIβm sorry. I have an appointment with a lady but am sure the goat will help you.β But the goat feared that her back might hurt. And the ram was scared that the hounds would eat him up.
Finally, the hare requested the calf to rescue him, but the calf did not want to do something which the elders had declined to do. By then the hounds were very near. The hare took to her heels and fled.

The Monkey & the Camel.
At a great celebration in honor of King Lion, the Monkey was asked to dance for the company. His dancing was very clever indeed, and the animals were all highly pleased with his grace and lightness.
The praise that was showered on the Monkey made the Camel envious. He was very sure that he could dance quite as well as the Monkey, if not better, so he pushed his way into the crowd that was gathered around the Monkey, and rising on his hind legs, began to dance. But the big hulking Camel made himself very ridiculous as he kicked out his knotty legs and twisted his long clumsy neck. Besides, the animals found it hard to keep their toes from under his heavy hoofs.
At last, when one of his huge feet came within an inch of King Lion's nose, the animals were so disgusted that they set upon the Camel in a rage and drove him out into the desert.
Shortly afterward, refreshments, consisting mostly of Camel's hump and ribs, were served to the company.

β£οΈPaulo Coelhoβ£οΈ
Over 30 years ago a book titled βThe Alchemistβ was published and hardly anyone noticed. The author of this book was a man named Paulo Coelho, and he was told by the first bookseller to carry his book, that only one person bought a copy after it was released. As bad as it was to hear about the grim results Coelho remained confident in his work. He waited for better results to appear, but they were slow to come by as six months would pass before the next copy would be sold. Oddly, the person who bought his first book was the same person who bought the second.
After that first year the publisher decided that the book was a flop and ended Coelhoβs contract. Fortunately, though, Coelho shrugged off that initial defeat. He made up his mind to not give in, and so he doubled down to pursue his vision with even more fervor by finding another publisher. Now finding this new publisher was no easy task, as he was met with rejection after rejection. But, he finally did land that new publisher, and with it, another opportunity capture his dream.
From that point forward Coelhoβs dreams started to come true. At first, he only sold three thousand books. But the sales kept trickling in, as he then sold ten thousand, and then 100 thousand, and on and on. Coelhoβs luck has yet to run out, as his books sales continue to grow year over year, with now over 150 million and counting copies of βThe Alchemistβ having been sold. Even more staggering is the fact that he sold over 320 million books when counting all of his works.

Paulo Coelhoβs story shows that if you truly want something bad enough, all the universe really will conspire to help you make that dream happen

πStruggles develop strengthπ
One day a man was passing by a garden when he saw a butterfly cocoon which was about to get open.
He saw a small opening on it and watched the several hours of struggles the butterfly came through to get the body out of it. After many hours, it seemed that the butterfly stopped trying as there was no progress.
He thought to help the butterfly by cutting the cocoon with a scissor. So the butterfly came out easily but the wings were shriveled and the body was tiny and withered.
Unfortunately, the butterfly was not able to take flight and spend the rest of life crawling with a wounded body.
ππ»βΊοΈMoral: This is natureβs way of telling the importance of struggles in life. Sometimes, different kinds of struggles are needed in life to make you stronger in the future. Never feel disappointed in life and stop trying when life offers you struggles but keep on fighting until you see success.
