It's time to hit the books
What did you say?

It is not a rocket science

What are you doing?
What are you up to?
Text me, when you get free
Hit me up, when you get free
That's an old book

The words βwaitβ and βawaitβ are quite identical but one should not use them interchangeably.
This is so because βawaitβ is more formal, as compared to βwaitβ.
Wait means to pass the time until an anticipated event occurs.
Await means to wait for something with a hope.
π΄ Wait:
- I have to wait for the bus every morning.
- Please wait for me at the restaurant.
π΄ Await:
-She anxiously awaited the arrival of her best friend from abroad.
- The team is eagerly awaiting the results of the competition

I should have done more. I shouldnβt have wasted my time. These are regrets we are all familiar with. However, we still have precious hours remaining. Let us make the most of them. The Prophet ο·Ί said, βIndeed, deeds are only judged by their endingsβ (BukhΔrΔ«). Let us not waste these last precious moments doing Eid preparations.
