The Valedictory Session of the “SOSS Research Scholars’ Seminar 2026” (March 16–18), organized by the School of Social Sciences, marked a successful culmination of three days of insightful discussions, research presentations, and scholarly exchange.



Chief Guest, Prof. Prakash Chandra Sarangi, Former Vice-Chancellor, Ravenshaw University, highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches in research, emphasizing their role in addressing real-world societal challenges.



Prof. Uma Kanjilal, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, underscored the need for more such academic platforms, noting that seminars like these not only foster intellectual growth but also significantly enhance learners’ presentation and communication skills.



The seminar served as a vibrant platform for research scholars to share ideas, engage in meaningful dialogue, and contribute towards knowledge creation for societal development.
