The Gideon's Chariot Operation, which resulted in the full occupation of 'Rafah' in southern Gaza, advancements in 'Khan Yunis', a full occupation of 'Beit Hanoun', 'Beit Lahia', and advancements in 'Jabalia', clearing a massive buffer zone of 1-2km in the areas, has seemingly reached its end, confirmed from statements by the IDF's Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, who stated:

» The IDF is now approaching the final stages of Operation "Gideon's Chariots".

» We have met and even exceeded the operation's objectives, and we continue to act to ensure long-term security for the communities in the south.

The IDF will begin the next phase by launching the largest evacuation operation within the war, ordering up to 1 million Gazan residents in the north to flee to the center [yellow arrow], in preparations for a full annexation of the north [red arrow].

Central Gaza, which is largely left untouched by the IDF, will accommodate the millions of displaced refugees, with humanitarian programs, including airdrops commencing.

The IDF has already set 1 foot into northern Gaza, however, the resistance remains, and so does the majority of the infrastructure in Gaza city.
