🔴 The far-left party of Jean-Luc Mélenchon has asked its followers to answer a poll on their voting intentions for the second round of the elections. Of the 215.292 who answered, the results are the following:

➡️ 33.40% will vote for Macron
➡️ 37.65% will either give a blank vote or a null vote.
➡️ And finally, 28.96% simply won't vote.

🛑 Jean-Luc Mélenchon has advocated his followers to "not give a single vote to Le Pen", and so his party's questionnaire did not include the possibility of voting for the RN candidate.

🔍 Five years ago, Marine Le Pen had embarrassed herself during the same debate with a poorly prepared, muddled and aggressive performance that sealed her eventual defeat by a margin of 12 points.

🗣 “The debate was a failure for which I paid a very heavy price”, Le Pen admitted last month, vowing not to make the same mistakes twice. One of her closest advisers, Philippe Olivier, said she had been “preparing for this moment for the last five years”.

📊 According to a poll for BFMTV conducted at the end of the debate, 59% of viewers of the show were convinced by Emmanuel Macron, against 39% by Marine Le Pen.

🇫🇷 FRENCH PEOPLE CREATED A PLATFORM TO SELL/BUY VOTES DURING THE ELECTION

A few days before the presidential and legislative elections in France, a service ironically called "Uber Elect" has emerged on social networks.

The site, which claims to have almost 3000 users already, is simple:
- it offers French citizens to sell their vote for 75 €
- it offers candidates to buy votes

The whole thing is apparently done with a proof of vote and a Monero transfer. A sort of Craigslist or democracy marketplace where people can monetize their citizenship. The uberization of democracy to it's end.

💥 This video has been circulating social media recently. it's unclear if this is just an ironic trolling operation to mock what Western democracies have become, or if this is a real business to sell votes. Whatever the case it exemplifies the perception of westerners (and especially the French) have on democracy.
