👉🏻 The French Island of Saint Martin is now facing an insurgency just like the French islands of Martinique 🇲🇶 and Guadeloupe 🇬🇵.

🔎 Demonstrators are setting up barricades and checkpoints all around the island. They also ambushed Gendarmerie patrols with homemade mortars adapted from fireworks. At least 3 persons (tourists) were held hostage.
