The thing about mental health professionals that they dont tell you is it is extremely important that you do not engage with them honestly.

If they ask you if you're having any hallucinations or delusions, the correct answer is no, and not to question the validity of such concepts or how it would be even be possible to tell if you and them are having the exact same qualia in every moment, or if you are having different qualia, how would you determine whos is "real" and whose is "hallucination". They do not want to hear that the entire basis of empiricism is that we can trust our senses and observations.

"Of course I'm having delusions, I am still in samsara, am I not? There are still phenomena"- wrong answer
"Of course I hear voices. I had to hear you ask that question in order to answer it. Oh, you mean in my head? Well yes of course I have discursive thought. If I didn't, I wouldn't be down here in kamaloka with you right now"- wrong answer
