Either we have reached or are reaching the mid point of this spiral. Everywhere you look something is about to blow up, and at times can be terrifying.
My advice, lower your expectations, and focus on what you can control. By worrying about the future, especially what’s out of your control, you are literally bringing those fears into the present, which in turns becomes a reality.
