"Not So Fast!"

It happens every year near the end of Winter and the beginning of Spring...

It warms and rains, and the trees wake up. Especially the flowering trees. You can’t blame them; by this time we’re all suffering from cabin fever and anticipating the glorious explosion of life that is Spring.

It’s kind of cruel—the tree sap surges upward into the branches and limbs, and the buds form. Then there are a few sunny days, and boom! The trees are glowing with blossoms.

But you can’t rush Nature, and she makes us pay for our impatience. A few days after the blossoms comes the inevitable ice-cold storm, pummeling the blossoms right along with our exuberance. Old Man Winter was not quite finished. Then eventually… a few weeks later, the trees will have another go at it.

Kinda like our country right now.

Washington is in full bloom, and we are daily reveling in the fragrance. It’s actually surprising and fun to peruse the headlines again! You can’t blame us; it’s been a long, four-year Winter.

But our enemies are alive and well, they understand human nature, and they are not finished with us. They have learned to be patient.
So instead of blooming too early, let’s save our sap for buttressing our grassroots infrastructure and getting our 5th-generation war strategies into place. The tides of war have turned, Washington is attacking from the air, and We the People will need to occupy with boots on the ground.

It will be time to celebrate when we finally have single-day in-person elections, with hand-counted paper ballots cast by signature and ID verified electors.

And this cannot happen unless and until We the People have reoccupied our lost ground and resumed our sovereign duties.

That will be a very sweet and lasting fragrance.
