The entire purpose of the Tina Peters prosecution/persecution is to scare election officials across the nation into unquestioning compliance.

I meet with election officials all the time. Many are terrified before I even arrive. They know that their voter rolls and election equipment are out of compliance with federal laws and that their elections are out of their local control.

When confronted with evidence they often say, "I don't want to be Tina-Petered."

The intimidation in Colorado is clearly working.

And any legislator who asks for a closer look gets "Mastriano'd" by taking away their office, their staff, and redistricting them out of office.

It makes us real confident in the integrity of our elections when even those responsible for them may not look under the covers.

"Waiting for the Government"

If you're waiting for "the government" to protect you during a riot, you're confused. You're the government. You're supposed to use your well-regulated citizen militia.

If you're waiting for "the government" to rescue the hurricane victims in NC, you're confused. You're the government. Your communities are supposed to step up and help.
