This is precisely why I left academia in 1996β¦ success in academia relies upon oneβs ability to navigate the orthodoxy rather than pursuit of truth.
EVEN in the hard sciences, such as chemistry and physics.
Iβm a REAL scientist. I couldnβt stomach it.
Why would I want to spend my life/career working in a field where truth was irrelevant? Sure, I could have made a lot of money doing it, but I am not a whore.

"Constitutional Carry"
A nice visit today to the grocery store...
1. A young boy asked me, "Is that a REAL gun? Are you allowed to carry it?"
"Yes!" I answered. "In Ohio, anyone can carry a gun if they are not a criminal."
Later, he passed me in the aisle. "Is that a Glock 19?"
"No. It's a Sig 1911. I like carrying it because it's extra safe."
2) In the parking lot, a middle-aged aged lady commented, "It's nice to know that there are people keeping us safe in our community."
"You bet!" I answered. "Constitutional carry, baby..."

βWe are at Warβ
For over a year in my talks I have been saying that we need to fight the 1st amendment war before it turns into a 2nd amendment war.
Iβve been telling everyone that violence is imminent, and that they need to arm themselves and tune up their local militias. It is their civic, constitutional duty to be armed and ready.
If you have not yet engaged this 5th generation war, then perhaps todayβs events will serve as your wake up call.
βNow is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.β
Kyrie eleison.

"Mercer County, PA Elections"
While President Trump was at his rally in Butler County, PA, I was speaking at an event in neighboring Mercer County. Before my presentation I was speaking with a County Commissioner and their election official.
The election official was clearly agitated and unstable, behaving emotionally and irrationally. I was calm and spoke clearly and directly to the election official. The commissioner had to repeatedly admonish him, "Just chill... let's hear what Dr. Frank has to say."
But the election official was having none of it, and he made several demonstrably irrational and incorrect claims. He acted insecure, and I think he made a fool of himself in front of the commissioner. He also left in a huff before the end of my presentation.
In contrast, the commissioner stayed for my entire presentation, speaking at length with me and several citizens afterward. Clearly, this guy is a public servant.
When someone becomes so emotional during such a discussion, it often means that they feel vulnerable because they lack a solid understanding of the topic. This official's lack of understanding of his own systems easily accounts for his insecurity.
But he is not alone. Our election systems have become so complex and technological that most of our election officials don't understand them.
This is by design.
In Mercer County, PA, the county commissioners appoint their local election officials. If I were a commissioner, I would nevertheless consider looking for a new election official.

Someone has lots of explaining to doβ¦
Note that the snipers had the shooter in their sights *before* the shooter fired.
Imagine being the snipersβ¦ you have a clear view of the shooter in your scopeβ¦ you see the shooter setting up to assassinate the Presidentβ¦ but you are waiting for authorization to take him out. Those seconds must have felt like forever. Nevertheless, you have to keep your cool and take the important shotβ¦ and you canβt miss or people will die. Takes nerves of steel.
Watch the real time assassination attempt on Trump from different angles. With countdown from footage of people warning authorities about the shooter to Trump being whisked away.
