"Two Pins"

Finished Wisconsin, headed California.

My left lapel pin is CSPOA, Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association.

The new pin on my right lapel is the symbol on the Spartan shield. 300 Spartans defended the western world.

It's amazing what a few dedicated warriors can accomplish.

"Shasta County, and RoV Clint Curtis"

On January 15, Clint Curtis took a group of citizens and gubernatorial candidates on a tour of the newly renovated Shasta County registrar of voters (RoV) facility. I participated and took this picture.

Wow! Clerk Curtis has configured a wide-open and welcoming facility that encourages every citizen to participate and to inspect *every* phase of their elections. And he implemented this for peanuts. (This is in stark contrast to the former RoV, who spent ten times as much building a spiked fence around the facility to keep the public out.)

I've been visiting election locations across the country now for five years, and haven't seen anywhere else like this. The Secretary of State and Attorney General office have also inspected Clint's election reform efforts, and everything he's done passes legal scrutiny.

Shasta County, California is determined to be the epicenter of election reform in the country. I congratulate them!

Why did the former RoV oppose these reforms? Why aren't ALL California RoV's implementing reforms like this?

Now that Clint has shown them how, they have no excuse. Cheap, legal, welcoming, and respectful to every citizen. This is a non-partisan issue.

The next very important step is to now *elect* Clint to office. (He was recently appointed by the county supervisors, replacing the former corrupt election officials.) Shasta has a primary election on June 2, 2026, and there are only two candidates running. So there won't be a runoff in November, and whoever wins the 6/2 primary will be the new RoV.

It's a simple and obvious choice: vote for Clint for continued election reform, or his opponent (a former RoV staff member) who wants to undo his reforms and return to opaque and corruptible elections.

Every Shasta citizen needs to vote on June 2! This is crucial to holding the election reform beachhead that has been established there. Also, I strongly urge reform-minded citizens across the state and nation to visit Clint's website and donate:

"Sheriff Department Kudos"

Last night I was driving late in a rental car from the Missoula airport to visit my dad.

I was swerving a wee bit now and then, playing with the unfamiliar rental car gadgets, looking at the stars on a clear night, navigating with my phone, and... I was a bit tired.

Got pulled over by a Ravalli County deputy sheriff.

I thanked him, asked for a sobriety test, and congratulated him for protecting his citizens.

It only delayed me ten minutes, and he bid me safely on my way.

Excellent public service.

"Greenland"

Greenland is not a sovereign nation. It is someone's property.

I say, let's buy it.

Just because there are tenants in a rental does not mean that the house can't be sold.

And we don't have to evict the current occupants. We can work something out.

Something tells me that the new owners can afford to fix up the property more than the previous owners. The existing tenants should come out ahead.

World β€œHealth” Organization

I was tracking and reporting the WHO numbers on Covid-19 from late 2019, and can affirm that their numbers and ideology were not only incorrect and misleading, they were anti-human life and anti-US interests.

The US should not be supporting any organizations that are opposed to our own interests, especially when they threaten our lives and the lives of our loved ones.

How refreshing to see us cleaning house.

On the other hand, experience teaches me that centralized governments seldom act in the public interest. Typically, what sounds good at first ends up being worse than what we started with.

Citizens need to stay alert and to hold our officials accountable.

"Questions for a KY Clerk"

1. Who is responsible for the security and integrity of our elections?

2. How much voter fraud have you found in our elections?

3. KY has some of the dirtiest voter rolls in the country. Why?

4. It's been proven in court that many of the people in our voter rolls should not be in the rolls. Why haven't they been removed?

5. It's been shown in the US and in several other countries that running paper elections locally is far more secure and about ten times less expensive. Why don't we switch?

"2026 - The Year of the Audit"

The person sitting next to me on the plane is a CPA. He has an interesting mix of political views, but he said something I want to remember.

He called 2026, "The Year of the Audit."

He asked me if the entire country was as messed up as Minnesota is, and why I thought it was so. My answer:

"Too many years of affluence and laziness by our citizens. America is an experiment in self-government. We've been neglecting our civic duties, allowing others to teach our children, run the government, and run our elections. This mess is decades in the making."
