#France: French President Emmanuel Macron (RE-RE) states that he will dissolve the national parliament for snap elections. This decision follows the poor result from the Bd'E list his party was leading in the European Parliament election, which only received 15.2% of the votes per an Ifop Fiducial exit poll.

#Sweden, European Parliament election today:

SVT Valu exit poll shows the centre-left Social Democrats (S-S&D) as the largest party at 23.1% of the vote. The party has won the plurality of the vote in every single European Parliament election since Sweden joined the EU in 1995.

However, S continues its streak of a continuous decline of its vote share in European Parliament elections.
