📣 16 марта на избирательном участке № 8366 на территории Посольства Российской Федерации в Ямайке прошло голосование на выборах Президента Российской Федерации.
🗳 В голосовании приняло участие 44 избирателя, было организовано выездное голосование для трёх прилетевших в г.Кингстон перед закрытием избирательного участка членов российской делегации, участвующих в первой части 29-й сессии Международного органа по морскому дну.
🎙 Также для освещения голосования были приглашены журналисты из местного интернет-издания Our Today, которые также провели интервью с Послом Российской Федерации в Ямайке С.С.Петровичем.
👏 Выборы прошли в тёплой обстановке без нарушений. Выражаем большую признательность принявшим участие в голосовании российским гражданам!

📣 On March 16, voting for the 2024 Russian presidential elections took place at polling station # 8366 located on the territory of the Russian Embassy in Jamaica.
🗳 44 voters took part in the voting, among them were three members of the Russian delegation who will participate in the first part of the 29th session of the International Seabed Authority and who arrived to Kingston just before the polling station closed.
🎙 The journalists from the digital news service Our Today were invited to cover the voting. They also made an interview with the Russian Ambassador to jamaica Mr. Sergey Petrovich.

🇷🇺 Российская делегация под руководством замминистра природных ресурсов и экологии Д.Д.Тетенькина и Постоянного Представителя Российской Федерации при МОМД С.С.Петровича принимает активное участие в работе Совета.
🇺🇳 МОМД является международной организацией со штаб-квартирой в г.Кингстон (Ямайка), созданной на основании Конвенции ООН по морскому праву 1982 года. В её мандат входит организация и контроль над деятельностью в международном районе морского дна (Район), чьи ресурсы являются всеобщим наследием человечества.
📜 Основным пунктом повестки для текущей сессии Совета МОМД станет представление и обсуждение первой версии консолидированного текста правил разработки минеральных ресурсов, на основе которых должна будет осуществляться добычная деятельность в Районе.

🇷🇺 The Russian delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Mr. Dmitry Tetenkin, and the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to ISA, Mr. Sergey Petrovich, takes an active part in the Council’s work.
🇺🇳 ISA is an international organization with the headquarters in Kingston, Jamaica, created in accordance with the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Seas. Its mandate covers organization and control over activities in the international seabed area (the Area). Its resources are considered the common heritage of mankind.
📜 The main agenda item for the current ISA Council session is the presentation and discussion of the first draft of the consolidated text of the rules on exploitation of the mineral resources. This document will become a basis for the mining and extraction activities in the Area.

Соответствующий пресс-релиз был опубликован на официальном сайте МОМД.
🇷🇺🇺🇳 В церемонии подписания принял участие Постоянный Представитель Российской Федерации при МОМД С.С.Петрович вместе с российской делегацией, Генеральный секретарь данной международной организации М.Лодж совместно с сотрудниками Секретариата, а также Управляющий директор АО "Южморгеология" А.И.Прокофьев в формате ВКС.

The corresponding press-release was published on the ISA official website.
🇷🇺🇺🇳 The signing ceremony was attended by the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to ISA Mr. Sergey Petrovich together with the Russian delegation, the Secretary-General of the international organization Mr. Michael W. Lodge together with the staff of the Secretariat, as well as the Managing Director of JSC Yuzhmorgeologiya Mr. Alexey Prokofyev in the video-conference format.
