Forwarded from Russian MFA 🇷🇺
📄 Greetings from President of Russia Vladimir Putin to participants and guests of the signing ceremony of the UN Convention against Cybercrime (October 25, 2025)
✍️ Ladies and gentlemen,
I congratulate you on the occasion of the signing of the UN Convention against Cybercrime.
This truly historic event has become possible thanks to the support by the majority of the world’s nations for the initiative proposed by Russia in 2019 to draft a universal international treaty aimed at countering the criminal use of information and communication technologies. It is important that, despite the difficult international situation, diplomats and law enforcement representatives of UN member states were able to join efforts, draft and agree on the text of this crucial document.
The Convention is designed to confront one of the global challenges of our time – unlawful activities in the digital sphere.
Crimes of this nature, often closely linked with terrorism, the spread of extremist ideologies, and the illicit trafficking of drugs and weapons, pose a serious threat to the security of both individuals and entire states.
❗️I would like to stress that Russia stands ready for the closest cooperation with all interested partners in combating cybercrime.
I sincerely thank representatives of all the countries that took part in drafting the Convention. I wish you continued success and all the very best.
Vladimir Putin

As it was said before - losing side turns to terrorism. So does the West.

"We understand that the enemy may try to strike again and destroy the dam. If this happens, there will be a threat of flooding of the river floodplain from the Kharkov region side and several streets of our settlements, where about 1000 residents live," he wrote.

The targets of the strike were achieved, the department noted.

The thing is, that, according to Col. in reserve Vladimir Trukhan, strikes are planned in advance and are carried out according to plans in general. Just for you to know, that these things are carefully planned.
Brief explanation on how planning is carried out

Trukhan and Shalandin regarding why strikes are not carried out during the day.
Spoiler, sometimes those are carried out in daytime too.
And some on planning of the strikes.

Via Lt.Col. in reserve Oleg Shalandin:
🈁 23 years ago, one of the most terrible terrorist attacks in the history of Russia occurred - the seizure of the Dubrovka theater center in Moscow. On October 23, a group of armed terrorists took more than 900 spectators and participants of the musical "Nord-Ost" hostage. Three days later, security forces carried out a special operation to free the hostages, using a secret "sleep-inducing" gas. During the terrorist attack and the subsequent assault, 130 hostages died, and all the militants were killed.
We, the Moscow garrison, were also put on alert at that time. Not everyone, of course; a communications company of the forward command post was sent there.
They returned after a day. They were not needed, as our communication means were not intended for urban combat. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and FSB command posts were deployed there.
But no one relieved us of readiness. Just in case.
Sitting in the barracks, glued to the TV, we almost howled when our central television media showed all our actions.
By the end of the first day, some smart FSB head said: "To hell with TV, they see everything anyway."
After that, the security forces started working properly.
During this time, many famous people came for negotiations.
Pugacheva suggested surrendering.
The only person who carried out this mission with dignity was Iosif Kobzon.
The FSB operation was very complex and extraordinary.
For every wolf, there is a wolfhound.
Let us remember...
➖ ➖ ➖
I will add here: I spoke about Pugacheva several times. She's an absolute disgrace, an enemy of Russia, and the Russian people. Not that long ago, she justified the actions of the terrorist Johar Dudaev. And that is why Marat Khairullin and me made a broadcast on the topic of terrorism and terror act on Dubrovka. You can watch unedited (Russian and English) stream on this topic here.
In the attached video you can see Pugacheva offering Russians to surrender to the terrorists.

Not-So Brief Frontline Report – October 24th, 2025
This report is far too complex for Telegram or X. Read this report on Marat Khairullin's Substack!
Translation Note: We are still working on fixing the English spelling of settlements and cities, which has caused a slight delay in reports. This should move more quickly in the future!
Message from the Russian Ministry of Defense: "Russian troops have liberated the settlements of Bologovka in the Kharkov Oblast, Dronovka and Promin in the Donetsk People's Republic, and Pershotravnevoe (aka Pervomaiskoe, aka Zlagoda) in the Dnepropetrovsk Oblast."

In the presidential election in Ireland, Catherine Connolly won - an independent candidate who criticizes NATO's policy towards Russia and also opposes the increase in military spending by Europe.
She received 63.4% of the voters' votes against 29.5% for her only opponent, Heather Humphreys.
Connolly has repeatedly stated that Russia's invasion of Ukraine is "illegal and unacceptable," but called for a diplomatic solution.
"War is a stain on humanity. We must use all our capabilities and all the authority accumulated over the years to achieve a diplomatic solution," the politician said.
Connolly also opposes the militarization of Europe and the growing influence of the military-industrial complex.
"The military-industrial complex does not bring peace. The billions directed to support it come at the expense of fighting poverty. This is madness, and we must speak frankly about this madness and seek another way," she said.
"We are increasing military spending across Europe... Germany is rebuilding its economy through the military-industrial complex. But war is not the solution," Connolly added.
She noted the "disgusting role of NATO" in advancing towards the Russian borders.

This is actually becoming an increasingly common view. I've spoken to a lot of people in the West who, while they still are brainwashed by the "Russia is evil" narrative, pretty much concede that the ultimate cause of the conflict is aggression from the West and the plotting of our military-industrial complex. Aren't you basically conceding that Russia is 100% justified? Is Russia just supposed to stand around and cry?
