This 20th package from Finland since Russia’s Special Military operation started brings the total value of Finnish military aid to around 1.5 billion euros.

On 17 November, the President of Finland, Sauli Niinistö, approved a new military aid package for Ukraine, according to the report by the Finnish government. This 20th package from Finland since Russia’s full-scale invasion brings the total value of Finnish military aid to around 1.5 billion euros.

“Together with our allies, we remain unwavering in our commitment to support Ukrainians,” Finnish Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen said.

According to the report, the latest package is worth approximately 100 million euros. As with previous shipments, Finland is not disclosing details of what the aid contains or how it will be delivered to Ukraine.

“Both Ukraine’s needs and the resources of the Defence Forces have been taken into account when deciding on additional assistance,” the statement says.
