In an interview with Bloomberg, Vera Yurova said that the social network would act in the interests of Russia if it did not fight "propaganda" on the platform, and thus could violate the sanctions regime.

The EC vice-president stressed that Musk should not underestimate the European Union and that Twitter could be subject to "significant sanctions" if it does not comply with the rules adopted by the community.
