⚡️ Statement by the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation
◽️ The traffic across the safery corridor defined by the Black Sea Initiative remains suspended until the situation until the situation surrounding the terrorist act committed by Ukraine on 29 October against the warships and civilian vessels in Sevastopol is clarified.
◽️ We emphasise that the Russian Federation, as the main participant of the abovementioned agreements, does not withdraw from them, but suspends their effect.
◽️ In this regard, the vessel traffic across the safety corridor is unacceptable as Ukrainian leadership and the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine use it for conducting operations against the Russian Federation.
◽️ In the developing conditions, there can be no question of ensuring safety to any facility in the abovementioned direction until the Ukrainian side assumes additional obligations not to use this route for military purposes.
◽️ Considering that the signing and implementation of the Initiative on the Safe Transportation of Grain and Foodstuffs from Ukrainian ports (Black Sea Initiative) was brokered by the UN Secretary General A.Guterres, the UN Security Council and he have been informed about our position.
◽️ We count on assistance from the international organisation in obtaining Ukraine's guarantees not to use the humanitarian corridor and Ukrainian ports, defined in favour of exporting agricultural products, for conducting operations against the Russian Federation.

In the morning, the Russian Armed Forces carried out massive missile strikes on Ukraine's critical infrastructure. Russian troops hit the substations and outdoor switchgear of Kaniv, Kremenchug, Pridneprovskaya, Dneprovskaya, Kievskaya and Dniester hydroelectric power stations, as well as the substation Zalyutino in Kharkov.
The attack led to large-scale emergency power outages throughout the country and an even greater decrease in the stability of the unified Ukrainian energy system.
🔻Belgorod region
▪️Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the border village of Krasnoye in the Belgorod region, there were no wounded or injured among civilians. In the evening, air defense systems intercepted several air targets over Belgorod.
🔻Starobelsk direction:
▪️In the Kupyansky sector, the enemy, with the support of foreign mercenaries, made another attempt to advance towards Kuzemovka and Orlyanka, but failed and retreated.
In the vicinity of Dvurechnaya, assault detachments of the 14th Mechanized Brigade were formed for a distracting strike in the Tavolzhansky sector.
▪️In the Svatovsky sector, the enemy command is concentrating forces in the Borovoy area for a further attack on Raigorodka.

The day before, foreign mercenaries who were at the gas distribution station in the southern suburbs of Zaporozhye were hit by the Smerch MLRS.
As a result of the strike, about forty foreign mercenaries were destroyed, about sixty militants were injured of varying severity. The unfinished mercenaries were taken to the 5th and 9th clinical hospitals. 10 Chechen and 5 Georgian militants who got to the 9th hospital suddenly remembered the Russian language, because all the medical staff speak Russian.
Seeing such a miracle, 6 Polish mercenaries began to urgently learn Russian in order to be able to communicate with the medical staff and improve the quality of their treatment.
As a result of the missile strike, the following were destroyed: 2 armored personnel carriers, 2 trucks, 12 off-road vehicles, more than 10 vehicles were damaged.
The Cossacks are making every effort to clear their native city of foreign trash, they are waiting for the Liberators and are bringing the Day of its liberation from Nazi occupation closer. The city of Zaporozhye was and will be free!
