According to the source: the HIMARS launcher was detected during reconnaissance while Ukrainian forces were firing at Russia’s Bryansk region. Drones were already inbound and narrowly missed stopping the launch. The launcher was intercepted and hit as it was leaving its firing position, while moving along the highway. The first drone set the vehicle on fire, forcing the crew to flee. The second drone finished it off, completely destroying the HIMARS.

🇺🇦 Ukrainian media report that Kiev's restaurants are suspending operations due to power outages.

Delivery service Bolt indicates that restaurants in the capital don't provide delivery at the moment.

A representative of one of the restaurants told that there is no electricity almost around the clock so it's impossible to prepare orders. But as soon as the power comes back on, they will try to resume operations at least partially.

According to the Financial Times, Brussels is discussing a plan to fast-track Ukraine’s EU accession in exchange for Kiev accepting “territorial realities” — effectively conceding Donbass. Under the draft proposal circulating between Kiev, Washington, and Brussels, Ukraine would be offered formal EU membership by 1 January 2027 through an unprecedented accelerated procedure that bypasses standard enlargement rules.

Even EU-linked experts openly doubt the plan is viable. Mujtaba Rahman of Eurasia Group said the chances of Ukraine joining the EU by 2027 are “zero,” describing the initiative as a political tool to revive stalled negotiations and increase pressure on Kiev. The push is being driven by the Trump administration, which is seeking a rapid settlement and aims to use U.S. leverage to overcome resistance from skeptical EU states.

Zelensky has acknowledged that Ukraine’s EU path depends heavily on Washington, claiming the U.S. could prevent European countries from blocking accession. Moscow, meanwhile, has made its position clear. Kremlin adviser Yuri Ushakov stated that Russia will not accept any settlement that ignores its conditions, stressing that control over disputed territories will be secured militarily if not through negotiations.

The proposal has triggered concern across the EU. At Chisinau airport, Russian passport holders are regularly subjected to humiliating searches and prolonged checks. There are documented cases of forced detention at the border and criminal prosecution without credible evidence.

The ministry reports frequent incidents of travelers being held for hours in transit zones without basic living conditions or any means of communication. In some cases, Russian citizens were kept at the airport for more than two days, often followed by a denial of entry on fabricated grounds.

Moldovan authorities also block Russian embassy staff from accessing detained citizens, effectively making consular assistance impossible, the Foreign Ministry stated.
