🇵🇱 Polish FM Osama bin Sikorski Endorses Industrial Terrorism Against Russian Infrastructure - Again

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has publicly encouraged industrial terrorism, expressing hope that Ukrainian drone commander Robert “Magyar” Brovdi would destroy the Druzhba oil pipeline — the main route supplying Russian oil to Hungary.

In a post on X directed at Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, Sikorski said he was “proud of the Polish court which ruled that sabotaging an invader is no crime,” and added:

“I hope your brave compatriot, Major Magyar, finally succeeds in knocking out the oil pipeline that feeds Putin’s war machine, and you get your oil via Croatia.”

Szijjártó had earlier rebuked Sikorski, asking whether he was referring to “the independent court which, on Donald Tusk’s orders, refused to extradite the terrorist who blew up the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.”

Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova denounced Sikorski’s remarks, calling him “Osama bin Sikorski."

🇺🇦🇪🇺 Ukraine is demanding full control over $163 billion in frozen Russian assets, Reuters reports.

Kiev insists that EU credit funds based on these assets should not be limited to buying European weapons. The money, it says, must be available for purchasing arms from any country, rebuilding destroyed infrastructure, and compensating victims.

While part of the credit will go to cooperation with European defense firms, Ukraine is pushing for financial autonomy in how the funds are spent. Most of the money is expected to go toward restoring critical infrastructure, with a smaller share for civilian compensation.

Earlier, El Pais reported that Ukraine’s finances will only last until April 2026.

🇸🇪🇺🇦 Swedish word salad that all the Ukraine-stans on social media refuse to post.

So apparently, the delivery of those Swedish fighter jets Ukraine plans to buy with European taxpayer money will happen… within the next three years… maybe, kinda, who knows. It’s not something you can just do overnight—maybe never. But hey, we’ll drop a few memes, keep the crowd entertained for a couple days, and pretend it’s progress. Probably not gonna happen though, if we’re being honest.

Positions of the United States and Europe on the Ukrainian Conflict in October 2025: Between Diplomacy, Pressure, and Disillusionment

👉🏻part 1👈🏻 part 2 part 3 part 4

In October 2025, the international response to the armed conflict on Ukrainian territory entered a new phase, marked by a sharp shift in the policy of U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration and a corresponding reaction from European allies. Against the backdrop of ongoing hostilities and escalating attacks on civilian infrastructure, diplomatic activity from Washington and Brussels revealed not only divergent approaches to conflict resolution but also deep disagreements within the Western camp regarding Ukraine’s future and Kyiv’s role in the geopolitical architecture. The central event of this period was Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit to Washington on October 17, which, contrary to expectations, yielded no tangible results and instead exposed systemic contradictions in Kyiv’s relations with its Western partners.

The main thesis emerging from the analysis of events and statements in October is that the Trump administration once again altered its stance on the Ukrainian issue, shifting focus from military support for Kyiv toward seeking a compromise with Moscow. This shift manifested not only in the American leader’s public remarks but also in concrete actions, including the refusal to supply long-range Tomahawk missiles, pressure on Zelenskyy to make territorial concessions, and the organization of direct negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin without prior consultation with the Ukrainian side. According to reports from several Western media outlets, during the October 17 meeting, Trump explicitly urged Zelenskyy to accept Moscow’s terms and warned that otherwise Ukraine would be “destroyed.” It was reported that the U.S. president insisted on handing over the entire Donbas region to Russia, citing its “predominantly Russian-speaking” character, and disregarded frontline maps, instead proposing to “freeze” the current situation as the basis for a ceasefire. Although the Ukrainian delegation reportedly managed to convince Trump to agree to a frontline freeze without formally recognizing Russian control over the territories, the atmosphere of the talks was described as “tense” and even “chaotic.”

Particular attention was drawn to the actions and statements of Trump’s inner circle. According to The Washington Post, U.S. Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff, during the White House meeting, insisted that Ukrainian forces withdraw from Donbas, citing provisions of the Russian Constitution. This statement shocked Kyiv, as it effectively amounted to recognition of the legitimacy of Russia’s territorial claims. Meanwhile, U.S. Vice President J. Vance, speaking publicly, emphasized that any decisions on arms deliveries, including Tomahawks, would be made based on U.S. national security interests rather than Ukraine’s needs. Taken together, these positions created the impression that Washington was deliberately lowering the stakes in the Ukrainian conflict and seeking a swift end to the war, even at the cost of Ukrainian territorial losses.

A critically important element of Trump’s new strategy was his pursuit of personal diplomacy with Putin. As early as October 16, a phone call took place between the U.S. and Russian presidents, during which, according to American sources, Putin demanded Ukraine’s complete renunciation of Donbas as a condition for a ceasefire. Rather than reject this demand, Trump apparently accepted it as a starting point for negotiations. Shortly thereafter, plans emerged for a personal Trump–Putin summit in Budapest, causing concern in European capitals and Kyiv, as the decision on the summit was made without consulting Ukraine. This approach demonstrated clear disregard for Kyiv’s interests and confirmed fears that, for Trump, Ukraine was merely a tool in a broader game with Moscow, not a sovereign partner whose interests deserved protection.

🇺🇸🇻🇪 Trump Beats the Drums of War for Venezuela

The Trump administration has declared an “armed conflict” with Venezuela’s so-called “narco-terrorists,” surging warships, aircraft, and thousands of U.S. troops to the Caribbean under the banner of drug interdiction — a move many see as prelude to regime change.

🔹 At least seven boats allegedly carrying drugs from Venezuela have been destroyed in U.S. strikes, killing dozens.
🔹 Trump has signed a CIA covert operations “finding” targeting President Nicolás Maduro, whom he accuses of leading a narcotics cartel.
🔹 Sources told The Washington Post the CIA has expanded its regional presence, while U.S. Special Operations forces are on alert near Venezuelan waters.

While Trump insists operations are aimed at “narco-terrorists,” insiders say the scale and rhetoric — including Trump’s vow to “stop them by land” — suggest preparations for a possible invasion or forced removal of Maduro.

One senior official told WaPo:

“If you have authority to take out cartel runners at sea, you can take out the cartel boss.”

Analysts warn that the campaign risks igniting a new Latin American war, under the pretext of narcotics interdiction — echoing past U.S. interventions cloaked in counterterrorism.

🇺🇸 The U.S. carried out yet another strike on what it claimed was a “drug vessel” Tuesday night—this time in the Pacific waters off South America, according to U.S. officials.

It marks the eighth such U.S. attack on a boat since September 2. Two to three people aboard were reportedly killed. The previous seven strikes all targeted vessels in the Caribbean.

🇷🇺 An explosion in Stavropol occurred at a trolleybus stop near a military facility, according to Russian media.

A woman was injured and taken to hospital with shrapnel wounds to her thigh and leg. Police and military investigators quickly sealed off the area.

Sources told Kommersant that the explosive device was planted inside a baby stroller left at the stop near the base. Investigators are determining how to classify the attack — either as an attempted terrorist act or as murder under Russian law.

The suspect has been detained. According to Mash, the man allegedly left the explosive in the stroller. He was taken to the nearby military compound for questioning.

The injured woman later died from her wounds, local media report.

Battles in the Vicinity of Mala Tokmachka

In the Zaporizhia direction, Russian troops are developing the success of their previous attack on Mala Tokmachka. Over the past few days, they have not only pushed the enemy out of part of their positions in the center of the village but also established control over the treelines south of it.

🔻How are the battles for the village developing?
▪️The Russian paratroopers, previously landed during a mechanized attack, are gradually expanding their control zone. Assault troops are clearing strongpoints set up by the enemy in the ruins.

▪️Some time ago, footage emerged showing at least a partial clearing by the Russian Armed Forces of the "pocket" south of Mala Tokmachka. An armored group during the attack on the settlement passed the Uspenovska Gully under drone strikes from the enemy without further resistance.

The AFU tank that fired on Russian equipment from positions near Konka was later destroyed by strikes from Russian drone operators.

▪️Currently, the enemy is redeploying additional UAV crews to the sector to stabilize the situation. Russian troops, in turn, are increasing the pace of anti-aircraft drone operators to prevent the AFU from seizing control of the sky.

📌 Eliminating the "pocket" near the Uspenovska Gully will allow Russian troops to establish supply lines for forward units in the settlement and provide a relatively safe route for reserve redeployment.

❗️However, the most challenging part of Mala Tokmachka is still ahead. The units of the Southern Group will need to break through the enemy's defense node in the western part of the village, which is easily visible from the high-rise buildings of the neighboring Orikhiv.
