🇩🇪The 29-year-old police officer Rouven L. who was stabbed in the neck in Mannheim, Germany died today from the consequences of the attack.

German doctors were fighting for his life from Friday afternoon since the dagger pierced through his skull and damaged important vein and his brain.

His colleagues are in shock and talk very highly about their deceased colleague:
"He was very brave and always there where it was necessary. Recently he was promoted for his engagement and bravery. We are in shock and still can't believe we lost him."

A man from Afghanistan who stabbed him and few other members of an anti-islamist group was not shot dead as originally thought, but wounded and detained.

The attacker came to Germany in 2014., didn't have criminal record. He is married and a father of two children.
