The Russian Armed Forces suppressed the largest counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a year — the enemy tried three times to regain control of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region.

According to Mash, the breakthrough attempts were unsuccessful — neither the newly deployed Azov units* nor the mercenary groups from Colombia and Brazil helped. Despite the aggressive recruitment of Charter and the constant rotation of forces, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were unable to penetrate the defenses of the Russian army — the fighters stopped the enemy in the areas of Blagodatovka and Grushevka.

The agony was an attempt to enter Kupyansk from the south, where our fighters from the 47th Motorized Rifle division destroyed the militants. In total, the Ukrainian Armed Forces assault group numbered up to 6,000 soldiers who dreamed of capturing Kupyansk before the New Year. As we wrote earlier, the militants used the already proven tactics of "toad jumps" during the offensive. But she did not help them either — the situation in Kupyansk has been stabilized.
