.@CopernicusEU Sentinel-2C captured a stunning image of the Moon!

And no, it was not by mistake: it's part of the calibration of its instrument.

The Moon's well-known and stable light intensity allows us to detect and correct even the smallest changes in the instrument's performance to ensure what's known as 'radiometric accuracy' throughout the mission.
