RT @CHMUCHMI: Pomáháme posouvat hranice poznání. Tentokrát jsme sdíleli a "nasávali" informace o bouřích a jevech, které je doprovázejí. Klíčovým bodem byla družicová data - snažíme se z nich dostat maximum - a tak stále zlepšovat pochopení a předpověď konvektivních jevů.
V dubnu pořádal ČHMÚ společně s organizací @EUMETSAT mezinárodní setkání Konvektivní pracovní skupiny, která se zabývá využitím družicových dat v meteorologii pro detekci, analýzu a předpověď konvektivních bouří.
Jak můžete vidět na fotografii, počet odborníků, kteří k nám doputovali z různých zemí, byl velký (skoro 70).
Na programu byly nové senzory, výzkum a školení v oblasti družicové meteorologie, nechyběly inovace, předávání zkušeností a poznatků a samozřejmě také rozšiřování kontaktů, protože počasí nezná hranice a spolupráce mezi meteorology je víc než žádoucí. :-)
