Soon the tiny #PhiSat2 satellite will launch carrying to space a multispectral camera couples with a powerful #AI computer that allows dedicated apps to run onboard.

4⃣ apps had already been pre-loaded on to the satellite. They carry out tasks such as cloud removal from the camera’s imagery, emergency-response street map generation, and detecting and classifying marine vessels.

2⃣ more apps have recently been selected through the OrbitalAI Challenge and they focus on marine pollution and wildfires.
