RT @Astro_Andreas: In one of my final sessions with the Thor-Davis experiment I captured this giant lightning strike that appears to strike between clouds - something that is more common than lightining striking Earth. I had it slowed down a few times so you can really see the scale of it. The "stars" you see in the video are dead pixels in the camera.

Throughout my mission I have have the oppotunity to sit in the Cupola, both for science with the two Thor-Davis and EarthShine experiments thanks to @DTUtweet and @dmidk and in my spare time. It is a marvelous view I have from up here and I have tried to give a taste of it through these posts.

I en af mine sidste gange med Thor-Davis eksperimentet, optog jeg dette kæmpe lyn, der ser ud til at bevæge sig mellem skyerne - noget der er mere almindeligt end lynnedslag, der rammer jorden. Jeg har fået det gjort langsommere, så du virkelig kan se størrelsen af det. De "stjerner" I kan se er døde pixels i kameraet.

Gennem min mission har jeg haft muligheden for at sidde i Cupola, både når jeg skulle udfører videnskab med de to Thor-Davis og EarthShine eksperimenter takket være @DTUtweet og @dmidk, og i min fritid. Det er en fantastisk udsigt, jeg har heroppe, og jeg har prøvet at give jer en smagsprøve på det igennem de her opslag.
