Canada, founded as a colony on indigenous land, thought about helping to bail out a Canadian company digging for oil, destroying the environment and displacing indigenous people in the process, after the company got called out for it.
Recon Africa, the company planning to drill for oil in the biggest inland delta on this planet and an UNESCO protected area, the Okavango, asked the Canadian Government for help after they got under heavy fire for their plans in the #Okavango.
