As the sun rose this morning, @NOAA's #GOESEast 🛰️ could see thick smoke in South America, particularly over Brazil, Bolivia, and Paraguay. High temperatures and lack of rainfall have helped feed fires in Brazil's Pantanal wetland, which have reached record numbers this month.
