A geomagnetic storm that reached Earth on Nov. 5 resulted in brilliant auroras (northern lights) that danced around the Northern Hemisphere. The VIIRS sensors onboard @NOAA's polar-orbiting @JPSSProgram satellites captured this beautiful halo-like imagery over a 24-hour period.
