In his remarks, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, highlighted how the ASEAN Pavilion showcases ASEAN’s commitment to advancing regional cooperation for global climate action.

Echoing this, the ASEAN Working Group on Climate Change (AWGCC) emphasised ASEAN’s collective role in tackling climate challenges, while the EU’s Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA) reaffirmed the strong ASEAN–EU partnership for a sustainable future.

ASEAN Pavilion at UNFCCC COP30 is supported by the ASEAN EU-German Climate Action Programme, a project funded by the European Union (EU) and Germany, and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, in partnership with the ASEAN Working Group on Climate Change (AWGCC) and the ASEAN Secretariat.
