A recent paper published in @NatureGeosci, reports that young and middle-aged trees capture more carbon than older ones - which goes against vegetation model predictions.

The team used @esa's SMOS data to assess live woody vegetative biomass and diagnose global changes in terrestrial carbon stocks.
